Name: Eliana of Noxford
Age: 11
Birthplace: Noxford
Position: Noble
History: Eliana was pampered her entire life. She's the youngest of 5 children, has 2 brothers and 2 sisters, who all dote on her happily, just as her mother does. Eliana's father, however, thinks she's quite spoiled and needs a change from her fiefdom, where she has 5 personal servants to attend on her. So he ordered her to go to the palace and become a page.
Eliana had a temper with this. She had planned to go to finishing school and become a lady and find a handsome knight for a husband, not actually be one. She comes to the palace snotty and spoiled with her nose in the air. She has no clue where she's headed.
Her great-grandfather was poor, a farmer just tryin' to get by. Until he discovered new wheels that make wagons run 3 times faster, and became rich. Late into his lifetime, he was granted a small fief, old Nox and it's castle. Throughout the next 2 generations, the Nox family worked their peasents as hard as they could and bought more and more land. Finally, Eliana's father bought Ford castle and the land surrounding it when she married Eliana's mother, the beautiful Marguarite. He thought it fitting to name the fief after his bride, so he changed the name to Noxford. Eliana thinks it the most charming and rmantic story she's ever heard and brags about it to every person who passes her way.
Personality: She is what many people would think the typical noble. She is always careful to maintain a beautiful and radiant appearance and must have the essentials in life, like silk sheets and pillows, plenty of pocket money, and beautiful dresses. She's gotten no life expierience whatsoever, and isn't really looking for it, either. She's impatient and stubborn, and won't give up until she gets what she wants. And those ane her good qualities. Despite all this, she's good with children and animals, and have always been very devoted to religion and the Great Mother. Her spoiled attitude may make her little friends, however, a good friend is just what she needs.
Physical Appearance: She isn't drop dead gorgeous, but many boys 'round her age fancy her beauty. (She thinks herself a goddess) She has wavy, raven-colored hair, that tumbles halfway down her back. Her eyes are a steely blue, with long flirty lashes and perfectly arched eyebrows to go with them. Eliana has cherry red lips which accent every facial expression of hers. Her pale skin is sensitive to the sun, because she's never given it much exposure. Every fingernail is well kept and rounded to a tip. Her body has never had to get used to page life.
Sample Post: Eliana waltzed in the grand doors and cried out, "Who will be escorting me to my rooms?" Greedy eyes of ill-reputable men lept toward her, but her footman, the ever loyal Eugene, turned her toward the Duke's study hastily. Eugene had always known the child was naive, but didn't expect this from her.
As he creaked the door open for her, she came right in and plopped down in the velvet covered armchair. With a brilliant smile and the most careful manners, she crooned, "Hello, your Grace, how pleasent to see you. It's Eliana of Noxford, of course. I was wondering, could you tell us where we'll be staying, so we can get all the luggage out of the cart?"
The Duke looked up from the book he had been reading, and glared at the girl. "Why are you bothering me now? I've not a clue why you're here." he muttered, quite annoyed.
She smiled. "I'm to be a page here, until I find a good husband who's handsome and noble and will give me a place in the world." That was her dream, the thing she had strived for forever. "Eugeeene!" she screeched, as the little man scurried to give the Duke her letter.
Quickly, not to be bothered by this nonsense, the Duke said, "I hope your quarters suit you, Princess. You'll get your share of 'royal treatment' here."
Eliana smiled. She skipped out without baring the Duke a farewell, and batted her lashes at every boy she saw in the halls. A fitting page indeed.
