Katherine walked into the library. She been waiting till she had finished her work to look for some books. She walked toward a shelf and pulled a book off. "There's one of them that my mother was talking about..." She whispered to herself. She had recieved a letter from her mother saying that she was working on her next grand novel and needed alittle help searching for some information that she couldn't find in there own library. So...Katherine decided that it wouldn't hurt.

She had found two other book titles that her mother had metioned, but couldn't find the other two. She sat down in a chair and sighed. "Mother must be writing one heck of a novel to be needing all this information...I just wish that it would of been alittle bit more easier." She rested her head against her hands, and closed her eyes.

Gwynn stepped into the library. The page had had some last-minute homework to do. Seeing, Katherine, Gwynn brought her hazel eyes to meet the other page's, smiling.


"Hello, Katherine," Gwynn greeted, taking a seat by the Blackwater page. "How're you?"

Katherine looked up as Gwynn started speaking to you. "Hey Gwynn."

She sighed again. "Just tired I guess...My mother is writing another book. And she needed help finding info for it. And I get stuck looking up everything because we don't have these titles back home in our library. It's so tiring..."

Gwynn yawned. "I'm tired, too," the page murmered. "You said your mother's writing a book? That's interesting. Though it's rats that you have to research for her. Well, maybe . . ."

Gwynn brushed back her hair, yawning again.

"It's not as bad as it looks...I just couldn't find two of the books, but that's okay." She closed a book and walked to put it back on the shelf. "My Mother is a really good writer. Most of the tales she writes about are based on the ocean. You should read one sometime..." she smiled. "I would lend you my favorite one but I lent it to Falik..."

"So do you need help with your homework?"

Gwynn nodded. "Yes, I'd very much like to read one. I'll look into it."

The page answered Katherine's question. "No, thanks. S'easy. Though I s'pose we could do it together." Gwynn words were slurried with sleep, and she shook her head to stay awake. "Just a little math."

"I have a couple of books that you can borrow in our room. I'll give them to you when we get back."

Katherine sat there and finished up the rest of her math that she had neglected to do. "So Gwynn. Is there anything new going on with you and Alexander?"

Gwynn bent her head towards the paper, and scribbled the answer to the math problem sleepily. The page smiled ruefully at Katherine's question, and lifted her head.

"Nothing really. What more could you expect? So," Gwynn shot back at the Blackwater page, grinning wickedly, "what new's going on with you and Falik?"

Katherine blushed. "Nothing really is going on with me and Falik." she grabbed a book and flipped through a couple of pages until she came upon the one she was looking for. She scanned the page with her finger till she found what she was looking for. She wrote it down neatly on a piece of paper.

Gwynn's lips curled into a smile, and her hazel eyes sparkled. The page flipped back her coppery hair, writing down the last math problem.

"Falik's nice, very nice indeed. So is Alexander..." Gwyn added dreamily.
