Title: Sneaking Out
Description: Livia joins in here&starts to follow us

Alexander of Rosewood - March 29, 2005 11:38 PM (GMT)
Alexander tiptoed very quickly and very quietly going past the library’s wide wooden double doors. He remembered the safest way out by heart now. It was just down this hall, then you would take a left and there would be a couple of doors on the left, you wanted to take the third door out. You could also take the second door out but it creaked a lot and you had to clime a four foot fence.

His heart started to race as it always did, adrenalin rushing to his brain. Then he started to slow down, he felt like he was being watched. He peered into the darkness for a few antagonizingly long moments but when he was positive he didn’t see or hear anyone he started to sprint down the hallway as quietly as his booted feet would let him. He knew that palace guards patrolled the hallways, and he had even taken pains to memorize when they patrolled this hall. They would be here in approximately ten minutes, just as he knew he could only stay out for four hours or he would miss his window of safety to enter the palace unnoticed.

Gwynn of Northwatch - March 30, 2005 01:31 AM (GMT)
OOC- Do you mind if I post? If you don't, I can delete this. ;)

IC- Gwynn watched the departing page with curious eyes, her stature shadowed and lightened by the flickering lamps that lighted the hallway. She had tossed in bed for hours, sweat making her sticky, and the heat of summer seamed over-whelming. There was no real reason for Gwynn to lay awake in bed, but she had, and this was the conciquence.

She was watching 3rd year pages sneaking through the hall-ways to unknown places, and what had she done? Followed him. Tonight was apparently one of Gwynn's more rambuncious nights, and she carefully pinned, her 5 foot self against the wall, slipping into the darkness. Strands of copper-brown hair hung over her brown eyes, sticking to her forehead in a most uncomfortable way. Gwynn looked after the boy, her eyes not leaving his flitting movements.

Falik Al Basiri - March 30, 2005 08:34 AM (GMT)
Falik was catching up to Alexander after quietly closing the door to their room. Like Alexander, he stopped for a few seconds to check that the hallway was clear, once again cursing himself for his inability to let people get in to their own trouble, then he ran to catch up to page, the soft boots he'd put on barely making a sound on the floor.

Alexander of Rosewood - March 30, 2005 04:00 PM (GMT)
OOC-I have no problem with you joining. But could you get caught following us. Its just that we already have one person following us. I don't know, you could post getting caught because you ally let the door shut to loud after we get out. Then we can see you and invite you along. It would just mean everyone gets to interact more as a group if we go as a group. If you have another idea just pm it to me or post it here http://s7.invisionfree.com/Realm_of_Tortal...topic=136&st=15 . Thanks

IC- Alexander went down a dark hallway that wasn't light with any torches. Then he took a left and there where four doors on the left. He passed the second door without a thought and slowly without even breathing he opened the third one. He slipped out and waited for Falik to follow.

OOC- Gwynn, Falik has started a forum in the class's section, it would be great if you joined that to. We need more page's seeing as it is a pages class. Here's the link if you want to join http://s7.invisionfree.com/Realm_of_Tortal...p?showtopic=141

Gwynn of Northwatch - March 31, 2005 12:30 AM (GMT)
OOC- Okay, if you're sure it's okay. ;) And I'd love to join the class!

IC- Gwynn creased her eyebrows in concentration, scowling as she slipped down the dark hallways. The light was gloomy, if there was any light at all, and Gwynn had to touch the walls with her hands to stop from tripping. The route this boy was taking was difficult to follow, but luckily Gwynn had stamina and speed.

The third-year page sighed, glad she had had the common-sense to don light slippers other than boots on her way to the library. She could just imagine the stomping her boots would of made, and smiled mischeviously.

I'm just like a cat, Gwynn thought. Cats were one of her favorite animals, and she like the thought of her sharing the characteristics. It seemed like Gwynn would need them to follow this boy's path: the trate to see in the dark, silence, and cleverness. Yes, she would need all of those. It seemed like Gwynn was more rambuncious in the night, and she wondered why. Maybe it's because cat's are more nocturnal, she thought, silently laughing.

She concentrated hard on the boy's way and reached the door where he had disapeared into. She pulled on the knob with small hands, and thanked the gods that it was a silent door. When she entered what ever sort of room the boy had disapeared into, she closed the door behind her. But a little too loudly! Gwynn cursed under her breath as the door closed with a loud snap.

OOC- If this isn't the right time for the door to close loudly, I can edit it. :D

Livia Heart - March 31, 2005 01:06 AM (GMT)
OOC: AH! Sorry it took me so long.

IC:
Livia was just starting to get into a new book when she heard footsteps. Ugh, why am I always caught? she wondered. However, she took advantage of the shadows and hid herself. She saw a page run past. "The bell rang, though!" she murmured to herself. She couldn't help but follow. Another boy went past. She recognized Falik. Perhaps she could keep the pages from getting into trouble - wherever they were going.

Falik Al Basiri - March 31, 2005 09:56 AM (GMT)
OOC: Are we presuming that this happens before or after the dance classes because it'll decide how the boys react to Gwynn in both threads!

Falik was following Alexander's tricky route through the darkness of the palace when he saw another page step out of the dark and go through the door Alexander had just steped through. The door closed with too loud a bang.

Falik smothered a cry and rushed forward, inching the door open, steping in and closing the door behind him as quietly as he could manage.

Alexander of Rosewood - March 31, 2005 05:16 PM (GMT)
OOC- I guess after the class, that way we can hangout without being weird about it. You know so we know each other and we will be a little relaxed with one another, not hyper-tense.

Also we are sneaking out into a courtyard, that’s where the door leads, sorry I was unclear with that earlier on.

IC- Alexander jumped. He spun around in sheer fright, how could Falik let the door slam shut. But who he saw next just gave him a bigger shock. It was Gwynn, he had met her earlier in dancing class’s. She was good fun to have around, but the fact that she was here confused him. Then Falik steeped out. Alexander whispered to both of them “Anybody else following us?” Then he turned directly to Gwynn “I suppose there is no talking you out of coming” And all of Alexander’s frustration left and a smile played upon his lips, it was going to be a fun night.

Falik Al Basiri - March 31, 2005 08:32 PM (GMT)
Falik looked at Alexander and shook his head. "All clear!" He whispered as softly as he could.

He looked at Gwynn and then looked pointedly at Alexander. "Are we planning to have the company of the entire third year when we end up with punishments?"

Rolling his eyes at Alexander's obvious amusement, he whispered a hello to Gwynn.

Livia Heart - April 1, 2005 12:57 AM (GMT)
Livia was getting more upset by the minute. Her "maternal instinct", as her da had called it, was about to get the better of her. "Where..." she began loudly, but then softened her voice. "It's all right, it's just me, but where on earth are you going?! You, third year pages, should all know that you shouldn't be out here this late."

Well, that was the pot calling the kettle black.

Gwynn of Northwatch - April 2, 2005 04:01 PM (GMT)
Gwynn's face tightened in shock. She hadn't meant to close the door so loudly, and in front of all these people. By all means,Gwynn told herself strictly, you'll get us all in trouble! She frowned sadly, her hazel eyes worried. They'll probably hate you now!

Gwynn was thankful it was night, and the darkness hid her face. Fighting back tears, she spoke in a barely audible whisper. "I-I'm s-sorry," she mumbled, "I didn't mean to, I'll go. I-I'm really sorry."

A large tear ran down Gwynn's cheek, mingling with a strand of hair that strayed near her eyes. She lifted her hand, and wiped her face.

Falik Al Basiri - April 2, 2005 07:51 PM (GMT)
Falik jumped at Livia's appearance.

"Well aren't we a merry little band!" he muttered. This was nearly all too much for the well mannered Page. If they weren't careful, himself and Alexander were going to drag half the palace with them.

He took a deep breath.

To Livia he said, "Alexander, I'm sure, has an abundance of answers."

Seeing how upset Gwynn looked he gave her shoulder a comforting pat and gave her a tiny smile. "Looks like we're all having an adventure tonight!"

Alexander of Rosewood - April 3, 2005 05:48 PM (GMT)
“Oh, we will have a jolly good time of it. Sure if we’re caught the consequence’s will be great, but the fun will be greater.” Alexander said to Falik and Livia. Then directly to Livia he said in his best impression of Lord Genlith “And what are you doing out, roaming the halls, have you permission” He paused slightly then smiled with a wicked mischievous look on his face and added “That’s what I thought, so are you going to join our banned of rule breakers?”

Then seeing the distress in Gwynn’s face Alexander moved to side hug her and asked in a quieter tone “You mean your going to leave us to run around and get into trouble all on our own?” He put on his most invitingly friendly smile as he released her from the side hug.

Gwynn of Northwatch - April 3, 2005 08:16 PM (GMT)
Gwynn blushed deeply, and turned her wet face up towards the starry sky. That hug had felt warm. Gwynn faced Alexander shyly. "Well, I guess I'll stay if you want," she said softly, and felt releived as a cool breeze brushed her side.

A bird twittered in the trees, and Gwynn glanced in the noise's direction. She couldn't bring her face to meet Alexander's, but at least the tears had stopped. Finally the third-year page brought up the courage to look at Alexander's face, bringing up a sleeve to wipe her damp cheeks.

Livia Heart - April 4, 2005 07:29 PM (GMT)
"I'm coming with you," Livia said in as much of an authoritative voice as she could muster. "But if I lose my job, I'm never speaking to any of you again!" she groaned. "Hm, might as well keep an eye on you. Where are we going, anyway?"

Alexander of Rosewood - April 5, 2005 02:28 AM (GMT)
Alexander gave Gwynn a reassuring look then he looked at Livia and said with a slight bow. "If you lose your job my fair lady I will be more than glad to hire you."

"We are headed to the dancing dove, it seems we are all displeasing Master Harisson with are two left feet. We are going so we can practice our dancing steps in hopes of getting better and maybe having a little fun." Alexander said with a humored wide-eyed look. “Now are we done and ready to go before the guards show up?” He said to the whole group which had doubled in size in the course of a few hectic minutes.

Livia Heart - April 5, 2005 02:39 AM (GMT)
Livia threw up her hands. "Whatever, let's just GO!" she muttered.

Gwynn of Northwatch - April 5, 2005 01:36 PM (GMT)
Gwynn looked around the group. Alexander was right: many people had gathered. And she wasn't supposed to be here in the first place. Maybe I shouldn't go, the third-year page thought worriedly.

Tossing back her copper hair, Gwynn retreated to the edge of the mob, unsure.

Alexander of Rosewood - April 6, 2005 10:37 PM (GMT)
Alexander noticed Gwynn move towards the back of the group. He wondered where she was going. He caught her attention and gave her a questioning look. "Our you leaving?" Alexander fumbled out the words with a little more distress in his voice than he would have liked.

Gwynn of Northwatch - April 6, 2005 11:04 PM (GMT)
Gwynn noticed the distress in Alexander's voice, and wondered why it was there. Surely he doesn't want me to stay, Gwynn thought, now growing aprehensive. And am I staying or not?

Groping for words, Gwynn managed to mumble. "I...I'm not sure..." her voice trailed off. "I guess..."

Alexander of Rosewood - April 12, 2005 10:12 PM (GMT)
Alexander sadly replied "You know you don’t have to......."

Their time was running out, whoever was staying and going had to be sure this second or they all would be caught.

Gwynn of Northwatch - April 14, 2005 12:26 AM (GMT)
Gwynn looked up at Alexander. The page smiled timidly, then hugged him warmly. It was more than a friendly hug. Gwynn lingered, letting her weight rest against Alexander for a moment, then pulled away reluctantly.

"I'll stay. For you, Alexander," Gwynn murmered, a pink hue gliding across her face. "Right. So we can go now."

Alexander of Rosewood - April 20, 2005 09:11 PM (GMT)
Alexander blushed when Gwynn hugged him and was thankful for the darkness. Then he looked at the group with a silent pray that they wouldn't get caught and then lead the way to the dancing dove.
