--Player Information

Name/Alias: You can call me...Stripey...or just Gwynn, because that's pretty close to my real name.

Gender: Female

--Character Information

Name: Gwynn of Northwatch

Age: 13

Birthplace: Gwynn was born in the fief Norhtwatch. (Is that long enough? Lol)

Position: Page

History: Gwynn was born in the fief Northwatch from a lord and lady. She had one brother, who died from a sailing mission at the age of 19, and one older sister. In Northwatch, one of the northern-most fiefs of Tortall, hence its name, Gwynn was not happy. The young child always wanted to move to a foreign place, islands most to her liking, and when she heard the news that her family was moving to the Yamani Islands, Gwynn was overjoyed. Gwynn moved when she was nearly 9, to the Yamani Islands, though she only lived there for one year, where she then left to Corus, joining the knight-school. In the Yamani Islands, she learned their ways, and grew to love the customs and beleifs. Gwynn has been in knight-school for 3 years, and strives to earn her sheild.

Personality: Gwynn is shy and would rather be alone, than join a large group of pages in conversation. She enjoys exploring, and is very brave, and even though she is shy, this page is not stopped from being rambuncios, and can be rebellious, too, though her Yamani training has helped to hide it. Gwynn has a secret liking of Squires and warriors older than she. She is humorous, when she is close to her good friends, and is quite dramatic. Gwynn can hide her feelings, and pretend to feel one thing when experiencing another emotion.

Physical Appearance: Gwynn is not dashing, but still pretty, being slim, and rather short at 5 foot. Her skin is tan and smooth, and her hair copper-brown and wavy. Gwynn's locks are tangly, and can get out of hand, but she still tries to keep them in order. Mildly fashinable, Gwynn wears stylish dress. Even though she isn't vain, Gwynn regularly dons skin lotion, and attempts to be pretty.

Sample Post: Gwynn smiled shyly as she entered the city gates, loosly holding a purse in small hands, and looking down at the many people travelling the streets. The page was shy and definately not what you would call out-going. There were so many shops, stalls, and stands, the town was almost over-whelming. The 13 year old page had only seen the city's market twice before; once travelling in, and the other time, a short visit with her fellow class-mates, but she had not had a chance to spend this much money. Gwynn's parents, Lady Rosanne and Lord William, had given her a pouch full of coins, along with a lovely plum-colored velvet purse to carry it in. Gwynn realized her palms were sweating, clutching the hand bag, and half-grinned at her nervous antics. After all, she had come to the city to have fun, and buy, not to dwell on the thought of busy multitudes of people, crowding the streets and walkways.

Gwynn shook her coppery-locks from a tanned face, and forced her lips to smile politly at a passing gentleman. Tempting scents of creamy chocolate drifted to her nostrils, beckoning her mind to follow to the smell. Gwynn located the source of the sweets, and pulled a coin from her velvet purse. After examing the rows of sticky, brown chocolates, the page purchased a rose shaped lump, dripping with warm caramel. Searching the many other shopping stands, Gwynn pleased her mind by stepping towards a bustling door way. Above the entrance a large sign hung, polished letters spelling "The Dancing Dove". To the left of the pub, a stable sported large, snorting steeds, tossing manes, and swishing tails. Gwynn loved horses, and pulled her self from the Dancing Dove's entrance, and walked towards the stables. A friendly looking man, stepped up beside her.
"Hello, young one!" he said in a baritone voice, a broad grin on his fleshy face.
Gwynn smiled back. "Hello. How are you?" she asked politely, awed by the strong stallions and mares surrounding her. Gwynn interupted her own question. "Who's horses are these?"
A small tabby cat approached the two humans cautiously, and the page reached out with a tan hand, beckoning the feline forward.
The tabby flicked its tail, and after examining the girl carefully, bounded forward, whiskers twitching in curiousity.
The stable-man smiled at Gwynn and the cat, his face wrinkling.
