Title: Number and Name of Rider Groups?

Gwenna Hunter - March 24, 2005 05:50 AM (GMT)
I'm not entirely sure how this is going to work. If the groups were going to be picked out for us, or if they were going to be left to our devices.

If it is indeed the later, Gwenna's a part of the 9th Rider Group, lovingly named "Shadow-Walkers."

If not, I was just curious about the clarity here. Thanks!

I hadn't really thought about how it was going to work yet; the number of riders here is small and the number of riders that aren't trainees and are actually in groups is even smaller. It's fine if you choose Gwenna's group, and if we for some reason do decide to start assigning groups she can still be part of that one.

I'm wondering, can we only play our Riders when they're actually in town, or could we eventually add an 'everywhere' board, where we can tell the tales of our exciting exploits...

Now that I think of it, I'm not sure if I'd want to, but still...

*insert lots obliviousness on my part*

Not sure when you posted this, but... if there's a specific forum you want me to create, I can do that, but I don't know if an 'everywhere' board would work very well.

Hmph... well, I was thinking more of summer camp for the Riders - we can't completely ignore it, I don't think.

Sayuri - May 12, 2005 07:00 PM (GMT)
No... We can't... Thats were the action happens, I suppose.

Heh... Rider Camp... Band Camp... Heh... Sorry ><

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention. I'm Miniya if you don't know ^^;

Thomas Rede - May 12, 2005 08:58 PM (GMT)
Hello Min. I did know that BTW. Lol.

So, I was wondering, is the Riders just inherantly boring, or is there something wrong with us?

Sayuri - May 13, 2005 12:32 AM (GMT)
Lol.

I think its us... And the Riders, as we don't know much about them. And because we are still in training and not out doing duties and playing police.

Woah... Now that I think about it... They are a lot like a modern police and rangers... With out the drunkee's.

Guns = Bow and Arrow
Cop car = Horse
Detective = (so maybe we can have a murder mystery after summer camp and try to solve it? Wait... They have mages for that ... But we can still do it for fun ^^)
Criminals = Bandits
Knowledge of Nature and its Animals...

And yeah o.o; Wheee

Thomas Rede - May 13, 2005 09:44 PM (GMT)
Someone's had their sugar! Hehe...

I'm beginning to regret creating a trainee, but since my character by nature must be immature and inexperienced, I was left with no choice. Alas!

So maybe we could change the Riders' around, and make it less of a bandit chaser force thingy, and do more police work? Especially in a more stable world... (well, that's just the part our chars haven't gotten to yet!)

Meridan of Redrose - May 14, 2005 12:34 AM (GMT)
lol, I haven't actually RPed Meridan in the Rider boards very much, so it would be great if we got a plot or something going. I like the Rider summer camp idea. Also, this will probably be a question for you, Realm, but when do the trainees graduate and become Riders? I apologize if you've posted it somewhere and I've overlooked it. I am, after all, a blonde. lol, that's not a valid excuse, but it's the only one I could think of!

Miniya - May 14, 2005 05:23 PM (GMT)
Tehe! Internet sugar, actually xD

Eh... Could be a priestess =P Even though thats genderly incorrect, but anyways....

Omg... We can rp a clue game during summer camp and we all freak out and at the end... it turns out to be a set up. o_o And the set up could've happened at night... When some of us were in SOOT(sp?) or something. And the guy they use is the schizo that Tom created and then when we come back, it would actually be him causing everything else o.O He could like... work at the place the summer camp was at... ?

Thomas Rede - May 14, 2005 07:12 PM (GMT)
S***! I almost forgot about him! I think the truth is, I haven't had much opportunity to use him - I mean, someone has to actually be walking in the hall for it to actually make sense. Er...

Min, you have really confused me.

The schizo is actually the palace cesspool cleaner, and I think he's the one who would be the pyro too... burn down the barracks, y'know... Hey! If that happens, then we don't need to worry about summer camp, lol!

Ok, so what's this set-up/clue game thingy about?

Miniya - May 14, 2005 09:21 PM (GMT)
Oki.

It'd be like clue... And the 'victim' could be the Commander. Just for kicks. Like in a clue game... there is the confidential that has the truth of what happened. And the confidential persona could be the Second Commander. All the clues are spread out about the summer camp on who killed Dyer. It can be one of us trainee's, a second character, or another commander that is there. We use tracking, and other skills to find how she was 'killed', where she was 'killed', and who 'killed' her. And it happens for the week of summer camp. And we are supposed to report to the second commander on this, who set it up with the 'killer'.

Thomas Rede - May 15, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
Um, ok, well, if we ever get past the first day, we can start planning.

Lol, I like it, very creative.

Maybe it could be a team sport kind of thing... SOOT vs. everyone else, lol.

Miniya - May 15, 2005 02:57 AM (GMT)
Of course. ^^

Uh, thanks.

Maybe... But we'd all eventually turn against each other. e.e;
