Name: Miya of Conté

Age: 13 and a half

Birthplace: Corus

Position: Princess

History: Miya is the middle child of three. She has a two year older brother and three year younger brother. As the only , she was brought up a bit spoiled.

She was born in the wee hours of the morning, mouth wide open and screaming. After a few moments, she paused to gaze around the room and giggled like something had amused her. It was the first sign of the willful nature of the baby. She almost immediately went back to screaming after that.

At the ripe old age of three months, Miya already figured out that people were easily brought under her will. Late at night, she’d begin to cry and then quiet the instant the nurse set foot in the room.

After a while, the nurses were replaced by tutors who began trying to push some sort of academic interest into the hyperactive child. It was also about the time she discovered the wonderful world of mischief making on a larger scale, so her favorite pastime easily enough became causing as much disorder as was humanly possible for a six year old, which as it turned out was quite a bit.

As a last resort, her father had her taught Yamani fighting technique. It calmed her down in a way. She has gone on studying both academics and fighting techniques.

Personality: Miya has two personalities – psyche! Miya in fact, has only one personality; one that she is proud to have and would never change…that could just be her egotistical side speaking, though. Miya is not at all a shy person. She’s vibrant, bold; and never willing to allow people to walk all over her. In discussions or just plain conversation her presence if often overpowering and can give her that edgy sort of annoyance that many people dislike. You see, in her avoidance of getting stepped on she often steps on others – she isn’t the best of listeners.

Ever since she was young Miya has been uncontainable. Sitting still is basically impossible for her; and when sitting she often fidgets and taps her fingers – an annoying tick she’s never gotten over. Miya’s mind works very fast, allowing her to do very well at puzzles and such if she’d sit still long enough, but the topics that flash through her mind prohibit her from ever really relaxing. The closest she can come to relaxing is doubling numbers over and over again.

This also helps for other emotional issues.

Miya is a very passionate person – this can work for her, and also against her. When working for her it allows herself to throw her body and soul into what she is doing. She believes that if she can’t give it her all, then why even bother?

Just as this passion is good, it can be bad. Miya has a horrid temper that allows her to have a quick thorn like tongue and rash actions. Hurt feelings don’t faze Miya and when in arguments she can be downright wicked. Being stubborn it’s also rare for her to apologize after arguments and even see the person again. Heck, if she’s mad enough, then she’s content with never speaking to the person again. Don’t think she’s unreasonable, though; she can be quite logical. And, just keep in mind, Miya isn’t a cruel person – she’s just mean to those who deserve it. So, don’t get on her bad side.


Physical Appearance: Miya has the long dark hair that is becoming typical of the Conté line. She has never had it more than trimmed in her life, so as one might have guessed it’s disgustingly long and reaches nearly to her butt that she likes to keep in a braid. That, as more than one person has commented on, can be used as a weapon in emergency situation. Her lips are full but with little shape. Her eyes are sapphire blue and have slight slant to them. Trained in Yamani fighting arts has kept her trim and borderline toned and leaves her with a sense of invulnerability. She small, standing at 5’0 and at thirteen doesn’t have much going on in the body department.
