Title: Taking care of Justice
Description: My horse

Alexander of Rosewood - March 20, 2005 09:43 PM (GMT)
OOC: I forgot to switch characters this is suppose to be Alexandria of Rosewood.

Alexandria murmured sweet praises to Justice for being such a good, patient horse, and not tiring down easily when she practice with the lance. She feed him sugar cubes and apple bits. Then she proceeded to brush his round rump and continued to praise him.

Gwynn of Northwatch - March 29, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)
OOC- I think I'm allowed to post now... Can Gwynn have a horse?

IC- Gwynn stepped into a shaft of sun light, letting the warmth caress her shoulder blades. The 5 foot tall page sighed happily, tossing her copper locks, taking in the scents of hay and horses. She wished for a horse of her own, she had had to practice on palace horses for the last 3 years, and Gwynn's parents said they would buy her a horse at the age of 13. Gwynn didn't mean to be impatient, but she did want one soon. Her mind slid into a world of day-dreams; her perfect horse would be a fiery chestnut stallion, or maybe a bay mare....
The page was startled out of her reverie by the silent murmerings of another person. She hesitantly stepped closer to a stall where a girl stood, taking care of her horse.
"Hullo?" Gwynn said; she didn't know many people, and was very shy.

OOC- Yes you are allowed to post now, your character sheet has been moved to Registry. And yes Gwynn can have a horse, anyone can I do believe. If you want I could make you a picture of a horse for you like I have. Just PM me and tell me what you want it to look like and if you want words on the picture or not. I will do my best to get the type of horse you want. I can even host the image so you have a web link to it.

IC- "Oh, hello." Alexandria said to the older girl somewhat surprised. She paused for a moment trying to remember whom this girl was, then she realized that the girl was in the same page year as her older brother Alexander, or she was almost positive they where the same year.

"Your a third year page aren't you?"

Gwynn of Northwatch - March 30, 2005 01:24 AM (GMT)
OOC- Okay! That would be great! :) So, I want a kind of large red chestnut mare. It can say: FireDancer, Gwynn of Northwatch's Loyal Mare. Thank you so much!

IC- "Yes," Gwynn replied shyly. She forced her lips into a smile; this girl seemed the decent type. She racked her mind for any information on her. The face was mildly familiar, and Gwynn managed to place a name to it. Alexandria. But she didn't know what year she was in. Stone, a calm lake, Gwynn thought, Yamani-style as she had learned, hiding her embarassment. It would appear rude to not know Alexandria's placement, when the girl had already known her as a 3rd year page.
"And you're a...?" she replied, keeping her voice steady.

Alexandria of Rosewood - March 30, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
"I am new, a first year page." Alexandria answered the s question.

Then in explanation as to correctly guessing the s year she said "My brother Alexander is a third year page, that's why I recognize so many people or have heard things about them."

"Do you know him? It seems he is one of the more mischievous third year pages, or so I have come to learn" Alexandria said in a warm and friendly tone.

Gwynn smiled at the girl, Alexandria, now placed as a first year page. She looked up at the large rafters above, smelling the scent of horses, and thinking about this new friend. She is a friend, isn't she? Gwynn asked herself. The third-year page sure hoped so, Alexandria was turning out to be very nice indeed.

At Alexandria's question, Gwynn smiled again. She was mischevious, too, as the other girl had adressed Alexander, despite her shyness.

"Not really," Gwynn replied, "but I sure would like to." And hopefully she would.

"You probably will end up meeting him." Alexandria said. "So do you like to ride?" She asked wondering what the older page was up to and what her interest where.

Alexandria feed the last bit of apple to her horse and in return Justice lipped her shirt affectionately.

Gwynn smiled warmly at the younger girl, but her face had an edge of whistfullness on it.

"Mum and Dad are going to buy me a horse this year. For my thirteenth birthday, but they're a bit late. I've had to ride palace horses all these years," the page said with a frown, "and I sure hope my horse comes soon."

Gwynn reached up to pet Alexandria's pony on the neck, and stroked it absently.

Justice turned his head toward Gwynn when she began to stroke him, he sniffed her, looking for any hidden treats. Finding none the horse lipped her shirt affectionately inhaling the young twoleggers sent.

Alexandria laughed at her silly horse and finished brushing him. "I have a question... does the work ever get any easier. I am not complaining I am just wondering if you ever get use to all the pressure." Then Alexandria giggled at herself and her serious question, she wasn't one to normally be serious.

Gwynn laughed at Justice, and patted him once more. Turning her face back to Alexandria, Gwynn answered the question.

"Well, it doesn't exactly get easier," Gwynn told the younger girl. "But I am pretty used to it. Still, though, as you progress in the levels, the work keeps getting harder. So," the third-year page concluded, "you can't really get completely accustomed to it."

Gwynn hoped that helped Alexandria.

Alexandria sat there in thought, what Gwynn had said made since. Then on her return back to reality she looked around as the bells rang signaling the end of her free period. She looked up at Gwynn and smiled with a sigh "I guess I will see you around, I have a nice mountain of homework I need to start on and I promised some friends I would help them with the history report we where assigned.” She then began to put away her brush’s and other grooming devices.

Gwynn nodded, absently picking up brushes and putting them away.

Smiling in a grim fashion, Gwynn answered. "Yes, I've half a mountain. Well, I'll be retiring, too, to work on that old beauty stack of papers I've got. Good luck with the homework!"

Gwynn grinned at Alexandria, and patted Justice one last time.
