Miniya slowly opened the temple door to the Great Mother Goddess. Hesitantly, she made her way up to the dias. Glancing around, she saw no others to her vision. Closing her eyes, she rested her head upon clasped hands. Silently, she prayed, not wanting to let any unwanted intruders know. She asked for help from the Goddess, to help guide her through training and if she gets accepted into the Riders. Also, for protection for little Matthias why she was not there. It wasn't that she didn't trust her parents with his, it was the others she didn't trust.

Lander often scoffedat Jade for being a 'god ,' she'd pray to any god in her linneage. She couldn't help it much. She never wanted to abandon part of it in favor of another.

And it was Temple day which meant she'd spend hours visiting each of her patron gods to thank them and ask their blessing.
