These characters are played by the staff and members when necessary, and are created to keep the game smoothly running. If you would like to suggest an NPC that you feel is needed, you may do so in the Game Control forum.

If you'd like to apply for an NPC, you may do so as you would for an ordinary character. As these characters are important to the game, we'd like you to already have a character or two here before you apply for one.

Roald of Conté (King of Tortall)

Evvard of Genlith (Traing Master): Keeping with the desire of many conservative nobles, King Roald appointed a training master of conservative background. There are many who say that Lord Evvard was perhaps not the best man to appoint; he is considered a quiet man, and doesn't like to speak much. He is known to be quite strict, and despite his conservative background endeavors to be fair to the pages under his command. (Played by Ruth)

Bridie Dyer (Commander of the Queen's Riders): Bridie Dyer has commanded the riders ever since Evin Larse's retirement. She has held her position many years, but it is only the very brave or very stupid who dare to call her 'old.' She is quite tough for her age, and still athletic enough to be a good rider and warrior. She oversees the education of the trainees as well as commanding the riders themselves.
