Evernham to still field the #91 team in 2006: [#9, #19, #91 owner Ray Evernham] COMMENT ON OWNERS' POINTS AND WHY YOU'RE MAKING THE ANNOUNCEMENT NOW: "The owners' points for the 10 will stay with MVB [to whatever number they use, the new #10 will use this years #91 points/race attempts for 2006, the 'new' 91 will be treated as a team with no owners points/attempts in 2006]. The 91 will probably run in selected races also (in 2006). My agreement with Bill Elliott is if Bill wants to drive until he's a hundred I'll supply a car for him. We were hoping a good partner would come and it has. We decided collectively that the best thing to do would be to go ahead and announce we have the infrastructure in place and we're doing this and it would be like The Field of Dreams so to speak. If you build it they will come. We've talked to several people, but we have not decided nor do we have a driver picked for next year."(ClearBlue PR)(7-2-2005)

I am Gald Too...I read an Article a while ago and it scared me...
Because The Tone Kinda Just Made it Sound Like Ray was throwing Bill to the Dogs I just didn't want to believe it... :unsure: Thank God I don't have to now... :)

Yay for Bill! I was starting to get sad...but now I am happy knowing that Bill can drive whenever he wants. :)
