Is the 500 x 200 rule still being upheld? Just curious since half of us had our signatures deleted when it became a rule (since the siggy wasn't changed to the specified requirement because of the new layout) and I see quite a few that don't adhere to that.

Not trying to start anything - just curious. Especially since they do tend to throw off the alignment of the board.

if its causing enough problems then I'll start addressing it, I don't want it to take forever to load for everyone

At work, it's not an issue. At home, it's a whole other ballgame (and yes, it takes forever to load. But I'm probably in the minority when it comes to being on dial up.)

But I understood at the time that the rule was instated because of the new layout and how anything longer than 500 screws up the formatting of the skin.

k, I'll make that and deleting members who haven't posted and haven't visited the board in awhile my goals to accomplish this week

Everytime I make people signatures I try to make them 500x200. Sorry if they aren't.

LOL It's not yours. I have no idea who made them - I'm just seeing a lot of them and wanted to ask. Like I said, it's not fair to those of us who earlier in the year were told to modify ours or they'd be deleted because of the way the skin is.

yea, its my fault.....I haven't been enforcing it, but it is on my goal of things for the week......I would send another email out but Invision only lets you send an email every 5 days........

I used to be good about checking them. I have had to turn off seeing any signatures though. There are just too many. It makes my pages load slowly with dialup and it gets very confusing for me while trying to read through the actual posts. Sorry I'm not a help in that area Christy. If it will help you, I'll turn it back on though. I can spot big sigs in a heartbeat. :wacko:

I had noticed the sig thing too. I was going to say something to some of the people but didn't know if it was really being enforced so I decided against saying anything.

I only make ones for Myself and Others 500x200 But if it would be easier I can make them smaller :)

I did enforce it but there seemed to be a lot of members that kept added more and more images that were more than the 500x200 image that since it was not being upheld enough, I decided to let it go and took the rule off the forum rules.

IMO I think it is a great rule thats why we had it before.

I did plan to reenforce(sp) it and now Im sure I will to make upload time better on the forum for those like me with dialup.

Yeah...just seems to screw up the alignment way too much - particularly on race day.
