Scoreeeeee! I finally found some info on Kasey's SpeedPark appearance. I had NO IDEA that St. Louis had a SpeedPark.. heck, I didn't know what SpeedPark was.. LOL But I told my Dad... and he wants to go! Yesss! Can't beat a father/daughter day... and meeting Kasey :na Now I don't have to get down on my knees and beg my friend to go on a roadtrip with me.

Was gonna post that he was gonna be in Vegas today, then I realized that was last year....I'm such a dork!!!

Fans Get Chance To Meet Drivers, Help Victory Junction
Martinsville Speedway PR
MARTINSVILLE, VA. (March 21, 2005) - Race fans will have the opportunity to have a good time and help the Victory Junction Gang Camp the night before qualifying for the Advance Auto Parts 500 and Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

At least 10 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series drivers will be on hand to sign autographs at Kroger Night With The Drivers on Thursday, April 7 at the old Lowe's building, just south of the entrance to Martinsville Speedway.

Gates open at 3 p.m. on April 7. Drivers will be signing autographs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and there will be an auction of racing memorabilia from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

In addition, there will be show cars and simulators on hand.

NEXTEL Cup drivers already confirmed include Elliott Sadler, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Petty, Jeff Green, Kasey Kahne, Bobby Hamilton Jr., Jeremy Mayfield, Kevin Harvick and Scott Riggs. Dodge developmental driver Erin Crocker will also be signing autographs.

Several NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers will also be signing autographs.

Tickets for the event are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. All proceeds go to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Tickets may be purchased at participating Kroger stores and Martinsville Speedway.

On the night of the event, each NEXTEL Cup driver present will have a special signup table for autographs. Each driver will be limited to the first 250 paying customers signed up. Wristbands will be issued to customers when they sign up.

Tickets for both the Advance Auto Parts 500 on Sunday, April 10, and the Kroger 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, on Saturday, April 9, may be purchased by calling 1.877.RACE.TIX from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for both events also may be purchased online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com.

Tickets for Jackson Hewitt Pole Day on April 8 are $15 and will be on sale the day of the event.

Ticket prices for the Advance Auto Parts 500 range from $40 to $75. Tickets for the Kroger 250 are $35. Tickets for children ages 6 to 12 are $5.

Anyone buying an Advance Auto Parts 500 ticket between now and April 1 can receive $5 off the purchase of a Kroger 250 ticket. Children's truck tickets are discounted $1 when bought with an Advance Auto Parts 500 ticket.

The Kroger 250 is scheduled for April 9 and the Advance Auto Parts 500 on April 10.

This might already be posted somewhere, but I don't get to check the board near as often as I'd like, so if it is, forgive me.....

I was in Atlanta this weekend, and for those of you that were there, Kasey signed autographs at his merchadise trailer after the Busch Race. I spoke briefly with the gentleman working behind the counter, because it was really a big mess, with no organization whatsoever. He told me it's like this every weekend, that the plan is for Kasey to make the same type of appearances in each venue after each Busch Race. He also mentioned that Kasey would stay until everyone had a chance to get their items signed. Hope this helps folks going to future races.

We waited about 2 hours to get ours signed, and when we left, there had to still be at least 200 people there. He spoke mostly to the kids that were getting things signed, otherwise, he was just trying to get to everyones stuff. I did take several pics, and will post once I get them developed. It was at dusk, and the trailer wasn't real lit, so I don't know how dark they will be.

Of note, my friend and I almost got run over by golf cart Sunday morning, of which Kyle Busch was in the backseat of. Dam, even the chaffeurs like to get up into people :)

Evernham Motorsports will hold its fourth annual Evernham Motorsports Fan Appreciation Day featuring Jeremy Mayfield, Kasey Kahne, Erin Crocker, Ray Evernham and Bill Elliott to thank fans for their support of the team and provide them an opportunity to meet the stars of Evernham Motorsports in person.

Evernham Motorsports Fan Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, May 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Evernham Motorsports facilities in Statesville, N.C. Throughout the event, fans will have the opportunity to tour the race facility and meet members of the Dew Crew. The day will include an autograph signing with Bill Elliott, Jeremy Mayfield, Kasey Kahne, Erin Crocker and Ray Evernham.

Fans are invited to check out displays from various Evernham Motorsports partners and view demonstrations in the race shop, including the fabrication and assembly areas. The No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge and No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge show cars will be on display and the No. 9 and No. 19 Dew Crews will demonstrate their pit stop skills. NASCAR comes back to Wild Adventures for Memorial Day as Kasey Kahne makes a pit stop at the park! Lucky winners will get a chance to race Kasey on the go-kart track and then fans will get a chance to get his autograph on Monday, May 30th between noon and 2 pm.

Kahne had big shoes to fill in 2004 when he stepped into the #9 Dodge formerly driven by the legendary Bill Elliott. But Kahne took the Nextel Cup world by storm, finishing with a tremendous rookie year that included 4 poles and 14 top ten finishes. 13 of those finishes were top fives and there were 5 times he came in second. His performance on the track earned him the Rookie of the Year award and garnered him some off-the-track attention as well. People Magazine heightened the Kahne hype when they recognized his boyish good looks by naming him one of their Top Fifty Bachelors.
