Hi everyone, I got permission from Christy to post this: The Kasey Kahne Message Board fans are putting together a birthday basket for Kaseys birthday on the 10th of April. Anyone and everyone can participate in this, what we are doing is either making a gift (crafty) or doing other stuff, we asked that no one send money or gift cards, as it will be impossible for Kasey to use them as racing season is approaching us fast. Some ideas here are scrapbooks (with no picture) picture frames (empty frame no pictures just a crafty frame), blankets, scarfs, hats, cd's (Kasey loves country music as well as President of United States, Greenday and 311, George Straight, Jessica Simpson to name a few) some are needle craftying pictures, pillow, others are sending college shirt (represent your college) also some are sending souvenier of their home state or anyother ideas you have. All the gifts need to be send to Lori Cross PO Box 261 Buckley Wa 98321 no later than March 1. We would love to have everyone who would like to participate do so. Oops I forgot to tell you NOT to wrap your gifts, due to airline restrictions they will not let me bring anything on the planes wrap, there is going to be about 8 of us fans meeting up to wrap all the gifts before we present them, please remember to have a card with your gift as I will be putting together a little book for Kasey of names and gifts so he has it for further Thank you's!!

Count me in too! I'll go check out what kinds of things are at the bookstore on campus, and maybe pick something up and send it to ya...that way I can represent Western Michigan Univ.

Boy needs to be a Duck fan... ha ha... Us Ducks are pretty cool :) Our football team kinda sucked this year but alas... He is from Washington so I guess I can look past the choice... cause chances are I'd be a Huskies fan too if I lived in Washington BUT... I'm happy being a little Duckling... maybe I'll get him a bunch of yellow and green :) ha ha

Being a Husky fan is muy bueno with me (since I'm a Husky student), that's partly the reason I became a fan was when he mentioned he was a Husky fan.

I have to see what i can come up with, i have to go to the craft store to see what all they might have.

is it okay to just send a card? i'm thinking about making one so it'll be personalized instead of store bought. i've got to stay low on the money spending (super hard for me) so i can get Martinsville tickets and i've got to save for a car.. but i've got to go to the craft store anyways so i can make a couple other cards but thats about all i can do right now..

lots of people are donating to VJGC in his honor and I believe if you let them know they will send Lori(or you, I can't remember) a little note that says what you donated that you can put in the basket.....

and a personalized card is fine......
