Wow, I can't believe its time to start thinking about this and all......but its time to get cracking.

I've got a lot of ideas I've been bouncing around to a few and I'm open to some ideas from the rest of you.


One thing I def would like to bounce off you guys and see if this works is that I'm thinking of setting up a PO Box here in my hometown and having you guys send pictures for the book there. Even if you can post them online, I'd like to talk with you and choose certain pictures that I want to use for the book and then if you can send them to me via the PO box. In last years book I know I spent way over $100 just on printing pictures out and ink for the computer when I didn't feel like going to CVS or Walmart to have the pics printed. I know its sounds crazy but an average scrapbook layout has about 5-6 pictures on it(some more, some less) and when you start talking about 30 cents a picture it adds up really quick. I mean if there is no way you can send them to me via mail but still want to take part please let me know cause I don't want to exclude anyone, I'm just trying all I can to cut my costs on this a little bit.....cause I'm not kinding when I say last years scrapbook between buying some tools, pictures, ink, paper, embellishments, etc probably cost close to $1,000 to done and right now I don't know if I'm gonna have a copy of this thing to keep or not.

Anyway, thats just the inital post........give feedback, I'll be adding things the next few days about ways you guys can help and all too, but ideas thoughts, etc are of course welcomed......cause believe it or not within the next week I'll start working on pages for the 2005 scrapbook

in some cases I don't mind, just I def don't want someone wanting to do a certain race page all in just their photos if there are others out there that also went to that race......so most of the race pages I def want to do myself and just have people send to me and really a lot of the doing the own page is going to come down to what exactly it is and what you are wanting to do and based on how its going to work with everything else I'm doing....

okay really that sounds selfish, but I'm seriously not trying to be I just want to make sure that the whole book as a good flow to it and someone doesn't just do some page thats off the wall and doesn't fit

God okay I'm shutting up cause I'm just sounding worse, cause I seriously bet I've got some kickass scrapbookers out there and I would love to have some of you do pages

Another thing that I've been thinking about that will help out is I need people this year that can do things like this

-someone that will go to all the different Kasey boards, groups, etc about once a month and post updates, reminds, etc for me just to make sure we get the word out to all the fans

-someone that will help me write "reviews" so to speak of the different races and stuff for the journaling in the book

-someone else that wants to help out with getting all the fan messages together that are going to go into the book

-a need a team of you to be my creative team to help come up with different titles, themes, different page ideas etc

-any articles things you guys want to point out that should be in would be good(probably going to have one person in charge of really looking for and keeping up with this)

and there is probably more I'm gonna need......sorta why I'm making these posts so you guys can bounce ideas off me and the rest so we can make some plans and stuff

Also, some of you I know have expressed interest in wanting to help with the cost...but I seriously don't want to ask for money from anyone cause I don't any of you to think "yea she could just be asking us for money and not even use it towards the scrapbook" so I've decided that if any of you want to help out I'm going to talk to the scrapbook store that I frequent and if you guys wish you could purchase a gift card or something from there for me..........thats even if you wish, you certainly don't have too.

Okay anything else? What are your thoughts.....please let me know, the more feedback I get from you guys the better it is


Oh yea, another thing I'd like to have someone that contacts people who are planning to be a races and reminds them to get their pictures in, cause i know last year there were people that went to races but never sent pictures and so it made it tough to get enough great pictures from all the tracks so I really need a commitment from all of you to send in pictures

I'm thinking about going to the June Michigan race again, along with the pit passes, so I can take a bunch of pics there. Also I might be working at MIS this summer, so I just might, for some reason get to meet him (hopefully...lol).

Christy--you know Brandi and I will help out in any way we can--since we live sorda close--I dont mind coming over for a weekend and helping you out at any time you feel you need it. As well as, you know we are going to all Bristol races and the Charlotte ones too ( excpet the all-star ) ...we "may" attend Richmond fall --if we can swing it $$ wise...... but its not planned into stone just yet..... let me know, I will be GLAD to help out if you want to appoint me something to do -- anything excpet the journal part--I could not write articles if my life depended on it!

For the "own" pages, I was thinking of the Sprint Car races (if he does them) since not everyone goes to those. Kinda like I did for you with the Elma ones.

I am going to the Auto Show in Grand Rapids that he is going to be at in 13 days so I an get some pictures from that and on spring break my dad just told me that on our way to Nashville we are going to go into NC and go to Evernham, so I can get pictures of that too. And I for sure am going to the June race at MIS, and I have pit passes so I will definately get pictures there. But if there is any other way I can help besides getting pictures let me know because I would really love to help you out.

also was thinking something, CVS and Target I think both haveit on their websites where you can upload your pics you have and order the prints.....I'm gonna set up a PO Box(going to do that tomorrow, I'll post the addy when I get it) for people to send pics, but I bet if you wanted to you could upload the pics, pay for them and have them available for pickup at the store closest to me......I dunno if that would work or not but I'm thinking it probably would

I might have an idea to run by you LOL. Not sure if its a good one but its an idea at least LOL. You may of already done this in the 2004 one.

How about not only collecting and using fan photos but how about we maybe take 1 or 2 pics from his website (of course giving credit to them) and putting it in the scrapbook. It might help him remember certain events or whatever that us fans cant be apart of. For instance a pic of him skiing, a pic of him and Bill at New Years Eve, pics from the revealing of the Charger with Richard Petty, etc. Maybe a pic from each race. I know this might get costly after the year ends but its just a thought. :)

I like being creative (my teacher side coming out in me ;)) So anything you need help with just let me know. you know where to find me. I got pocono in June covered. I will be there all three days, even the two hour practice on friday. So hopefully i will be coming back with some kick butt pics. Let me know chica. ANything at all.

my friend and I have done some scrapbooking and I am all over art stores hehe....I don't really know what i could help with but i know for sure if you asked me for something or another i could let you know and help out.

And hopefully sometime before the year is out I'll get back up to Charlotte so I'll get some pics then too and I'd be happy to help put some pages together or whatever. Again, let me just say you guys don't have too......I'm just giving some of you an option that have asked since I know most of you probably wouldn't feel comfortable just sending a person money.

i bought my tickets last night for the Martinsville race in October. I'm also saving up for a really nice professional-like camera so i should be able to get some really good pictures.

I'm trying to save up myself for a new one(but then I keep buying tickets to go to races so I'm not doing so well on the saving)

haha yeah.. i was supposed to be paying for my tickets but after i ordered them my parents told me they were paying for them so now i can get my camera. my problem is just saving money though.. it definitely burns a hole in my pocket! this year i'm taking plenty of film with me though.. my dad forgot film last year so we got like half a roll of pictures.

i'm going to June dover, And july Loudon. I'll be happy to help. I have a really good digital camera and would be happy to take a lot of pictures. I have pit passes for dover so maybe i can get some really good pictures of kasey.

Hey I know this is probably late, but I'm homeschooled so I'm home all day. I made Vickers Snickers a scrapbook for his birthday last year. I would LOVE to help out in anyway, I have a digital camera, and a professional camera but the professional one is getting fixed, from Last Richmond. I was taking pictures of Kurt Busch and it broke. NO offence to Kurt. (luv ya Kurt ^_^) Something happened to the button where you take the pictures and its still getting repaired. I should be getting it back soon, but until then I have the digtial one that I can help out with. But anything I can do to help you, I would love to do for ya. Now I understand there is another Brandi here. We have Brandi 1 and Brandi 2, lol!! Just let me know what I can do for ya.

I just got my pictures back from kasey at the miwaukee signing ( yeah i know kinda late but my family is weird that way) and I'll be at the Brickyard for the race and hopefully qualifying. I would be happy to send in pictures. I'll make sure the pictures are developed on time too.

Christy may be scanning them into CD format again this year, not sure. Uploading the pics would take forever and Christy has little time as it is.

I will be scanning it and putting it onto CD again this year......the process is expensive, which is why I have to charge you guys $10 for a copy.
