Have we gone forum crazy? I think we need to cut down the number of different areas around here at the board.......anyone got suggestions about what can be combined, gotten rid of etc, etc

First off..

The rules need to stay. Every forum needs rules and it needs to stay on the main page IMO.

RK@KK Kasey and Racing Areas:
I think the Evernham/Akins/Kasey's dirt track adventures can be combined to the Kasey forum. There is not at all that many topics in that forum. It would not hurt to combine them IMO.

In the Pits is a good forum for other racing topics besides Kasey. That needs to stay.

Kasey Pics. - What we can do here is create a website for the forum and have these pics on its own page instead of the forum. Pics can be summited to the webpage for adding.

Chat Room - Well this can go eaither way but I think this can be added to the Forum Forums

2004 Scrap book, can be also added to the Website or pinned in the Kasey Forum


Off-Topic Area:

Off Topic is great during the off season and on season.

The Fan Fics can be moved to another forum for fan fic only IMO.

Same with Finished Fan Fic.

Forum Games can be deleated and moved into the Off Topic area, unless it is NASCAR related then it can be moved into the In The Pits Area.

RK@KK Forum-News and Members Area:

The Admin Mod forum can go out the window, we do not use it.

Everything else listed can remain the same. We need it like that

Testing Forum is a no need forum. You see a review when you add a sig or Avatar.

I completely agree that the amount of forums should be reduced. I (and many others) like to visit this place multiple times per day. However, I just don't have the time to view every forum to see all of the posts. Half of the forums, I just completely avoid most days. If/when the amount of forums is reduced, it would/will be much easier to view all of the forums and benefit the entire forum.

I'm looking at everything......I'd like to do some sub-forums but we had a problem with the one last time making everything show up at read but not really be so I've got to work that problem out before we do that

The Birthday Forum needs to be by itself IMO. Wishing everyone a Happy Birthday is important IMO and the way it was in the member area, when you had a new member there post is shoved to the bottom with all the Birthday wishes. Perhaps a Sub forum will work in the members area but they do not need to be mixed, but hey...thats just my thoughts.

And Christy...you really don't have to work your butt off, you know I can help and do this too instead of being behind the doors...
