I see people highlighting something from another persons post and adding it to theirs are they just retyping or can you move it Just curious

I am wondering the same thing.

There is two ways to do this.

1st is while reading the persons replay or post you can click "quote" which will give you a reply window with that members post in your post.

2nd you can copy a certin phrase or sentance by just highlighting the word and pasting it on your reply thread. Then highlight it and click quote at the top of the reply thread beside @ and CODE.
