Folks everyone likes a new look or atleast somthing new every new year. This year our goal at RK@KK is to do that for 2005.

The webiste is still in the works and we hope to have it going for 2005 but what I need is peoples thoughts, ideas, and brain power, to help and lead this forum to a strong running in 2005.

Every idea will be looked at and thought about...Ideas can range from

Smilies, layouts, forums, calenders, fanatsy leagues, stats, images, rumors, paint schemes...anything!

Folks I know I see diffrent forums during the week and some ideas I get from other forums. I know you visit other forums too.

RK@KK is just no other forum, this is THE forum for Kahne Racing and we want it better. Our goal is to give the reader a nice soft welcome and easy viewing. Easy navagation, with quicker upload times. Less trash and more NASCAR.

Only with your help can we do this, so please help us keep the #1 spot in the Unofficial fan forum for Kasey Kahne and like Kahne, lets get a strong start in 2005.

I would like to see a fantasy racing league on here.

I love this board and it is so user friendly, set up wise. I'm sure I will think of more things, but I would really like to see a fantasy racing league.

Well, this was my first Nascar board, even though I'd been a fan for years. I love coming here and think you all did a great job this past year. I knew I could count on someone here to have all the info I need about Kasey and Nascar. I think having a calendar with all important events and show times would be great. And we must keep the fan fiction section. I love that place. That's all I can come up with right now. I'm sure I can come up with more when I'm less tired.

The board is great, there really isn't anything I would change.

I joined this forum on June 11th, when there were only 76 members. Since then, I have visited many times every day. While I don't post as often as I probably should, I've enjoyed watching this forum progress into the greatest Kasey Kahne forum on the Internet.

I like the ever-changing banners (though they might be annoying to those with slower Internet connections.) All of the smilies and things like those are great. You have a wonderful selection of forums organized very well. The administrators and moderators are all well chosen. When it comes to design, there's only one little thing that bothers me (and probably just me.)

I’ve never been a fan of hot colors used as large sections in color schemes. Of course, I can tolerate the red, but I’d prefer a cooler color (such as one resembling the blue in that recent holiday banner) replace the current color scheme. However, that change would sort of destroy the ‘Kasey Kahne red’ color scheme and most people wouldn’t want that to happen. So, you can probably ignore that suggestion.

I'd love a Fantasy League and/or similar game(s.) Most of the other NASCAR forums that I visit have at least one. The "Pick 10" thing was fun, but I'd prefer a more "Yahoo!" style league to occur. There are numerous services (including Yahoo!) that you can set up free leagues on, or you could create your own.

Hope something that I said turns out to be relevant.

Would anyone think maybe a more dominant black instead of the red might be better........kinda like flipping the black and red on the board? I'm open to suggestions about the color scheme

Black would be awesome, but if we revert would it be to much red at the top? If there a way we can have a test forum to see how it would look?

As far as the Yahoo leage I plan on setting one up and giving the winner something at the end of the year.

I had told Christy awhile back that you guys could have that sign that I made and took the picture of Kasey holding it up...said Hi Kahne's Korner and he signed it in the corner...so if you guys wanted that as one of the things to send out to a winner of a Board Fantasy Game, you're more than welcome to it....it's still sitting in my scanner from when I scanned it a couple months back!

An incredible site for InvisionFree skins is http://ifskinzone.net. I've found it very useful. A section of the site allows you to enter colors in, and it previews what the forum would look like with the colors you entered.

It would be great if InvisionFree allowed multiple skins per forum, and each user could just choose which one he/she liked best to use. However, that's not a feature for InvisionFree boards yet. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see that as a feature in the future.

Christy - I know you are pushing increased posts on the board - how about a monthly/ or quarterly winner with the most posts - and make it like a pic of kasey or a trading card - I bet if there is incentive - posts will increase !!

How about fixing it so the Off Topic Forum doesn't always show that all the posts have been read when they haven't. :rolleyes:
I didn't used to have that problem until the Sports Subforum was created. I don't have that problem on any other boards that have subforums under a main forum heading. It's not major, just a bit annoying at times.

My thought: When there are multiple pages of replies and you want to go to the next page, there should be a next button along with the last button instead of having to click on the page number

Would there be any way to make a list of the fan fic. authors, so that someone could simply click onto that author and go from there? Along w/ having it listed as it is now......

If you click on their name on a post they made, it'll take you to their profile. From the profile, you can click on find all posts by this member and all the subjects they started will come up. I know it's a pain, but I think that's the only way it can be done on the board. May be wrong though - but it'll work for now!
