i got my fan club newsletter-- picinics??! i spelled it wrong i know- it's late at night! anyone psyched? know any info! i'm dying!!! i want to go!!! :k1

why somehow has my mailman decided I don't deserve my newsletter..........someone give me details!

My mailman always brings my Nascar stuff late. I know Nascar Scene is supossed to be here every Thursday, I usually get it on Saturday....and my Tony Stewart newsletters, I'm lucky if I even get those. I think he's still mad about my dog jumping on him a couple years ago.

Well Miss Christy I just happen to have my newsletter right here... so I figure since you're SOOOOO nice and all... I'll help ya out... :) haha

The picnic thing was mentioned in Tammy's (Kasey's mom) part of the newsletter and this is the paragraph about it:

We are in the process of planning some fun things for next season including new products, a fan club picnic and more autograph sessions.

And apparently Tammy's mom Beverly Peterson is helping Tammy out w/ the fan club now... it's jut a big ol' family affair :) ha ha

And Kasey wrote in his little letter:
I saw how much fun all of you had for my appearance in Enumclaw last month (Authors note: Fun is an understatement) and we will improve it in some areas and start to announce fan club picnics regionally around the country in the very near future

But yeah that's all that was said about the Picnics :) so NOTHING planned yet... it probobly wont be till next year...

i still havnt gotten my nascar illustrated magazine, and i havnt gotten any newsletters from the fan club yet! are all fans supposed to get them?

we are supposed to but seems some of ours have gotten lost.

The picnic is going to be held at Washington National Golf Corse next summer, just so all of you on the east coast can start planning.....

That would be so much fun. I would like to make the trip.

I thought it said that maybe there would be some in different locations throughout the country for fans from different areas. Hmm. Maybe I was mistaken or maybe I dreamed it.

Did any of you try the kickin' chili recipe for 6 with 3/4 cups of chili powder in it? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA My advice is...don't. LOL

I got a newsletter, and I never even joined the fan club... nor have I tried to.. nor do I have the slightest idea as to HOW they have my address...

:( I've still yet to get mine either--my friend has gotten hers--but none 4 me :(

I'm all for a big East coast meet up of just us fans meeting up at a race or something to hang out, I love meeting my girls from the boards and such at races.

I got to meet some wonderful girls from this board at Charlotte and hopefully I'll be seeing them again in Darlington! :)

Yep...I read that as REGIONAL picnics myself...so I'm thinking we East Coasters will get a chance to swoon a lil bit ourselves w/o having to fly clear across the country!

If there are LOTS of fan club members that didn't get the newsletter, let me know...I don't mind to type up his letter and Tammy's letter that's created this fan club picnic buzz!!! So everybody can read the words directly from the Kahne family's mouths!!!

Say the word...and they will be posted (after lunch)...but they WILL be posted!!!


And yes...meeting up with members of this board is ALWAYS a good thing...Christy, hope you do get to play with us here in a few weeks!!!

That's it. Now that the site is working again, I'm getting my damned fan club membership (although eh, don't know if it's worth it now this late in the year). But weeeee it's on!

aww, we need a midwest peekneek. DC is somewhere around 12 hours from here :( and the east coast is, well, even farther. my car would probably mutiny and leave me on the side of the road.

hey anyone from New england Email me and we can discuss. i work at a resort and we'd love to host it. I was working on a Nascar day anyway. Getting a local car dealership to join in, some vendors, just a fun day all together in July. I live in MA so we can figure it all out.
