During the NASCAR 24/7 Live broadcasts fans can participate with Instant Message, chat room as well as e-mail questions to the drivers. Thursday's broadcast will be live from outside the media tent in the infield at Daytona.

Media day will mark the debut of Turner Sports' state-of-the art broadband truck. The rig will serve as the set for NASCAR.COM's exclusive online series, NASCAR 24/7 Live, which will webcast live from merchandise row prior to 20 Nextel Cup Series races throughout the season, beginning with the Daytona 500.

The truck also will serve as the home for TNT's pre-race show during the network's six consecutive Cup races, beginning with the June 10 telecast from Pocono and concluding at Chicago on July 15.

What do you do in the offseason to take a break?

Pretty busy all the way to December 20th, photoshoots and appearances, testing in Kentucky and other places, Aussie till January 5th with friends and family. Couple Seahawk games. (Riki Rackman talked about the drifting.)

Australians really know Marcos Ambrose well, nobody in Australia really knows about Nascar. Or they know about Nascar but not about Kasey.

All the IMs coming in for him are from girls.

Thoughts on the COT? "It's what we have, it's what we'll have to race." He likes the car they have, thinks it's safe. Just gonna have learn to make it race well and be fast. Big learning curve when they get to the intermediates.

Tons of restrictor plate testing, feels really strongly about everything but road courses. FOUR TESTS ON ROAD COURSES BEFORE INFINEON.

Who does he feel is his strongest competition? Jimmie -- he's there every single weekend, he's got it figured out. Matty. Tony. Those 3 are there every weekend.

He also mentioned 2 new Allstate commercials. (I'm pretty sure we knew that, and I'm pretty sure one debuts during the 500.)
