I ordered this thinking Kasey would be one of the drivers as they show his picture on the add. Now they announce the five and he is not on it. I complained and they said they would pick from the top five drivers. I think Kasey would be on that list. I hope all of you will e-mail them and complain. Thanks to all

I think that five they announced is just for Daytona. It will change

From my understanding of the Hot Pass Package (and this is from my conversation with DirecTv customer service) the 5 drivers will vary each week. So where as it's 5 guys for the Daytona 500, they will have different drivers the week after. There will of course be drivers who will be featured more regularly than others.

My guess is that they'd want to feature drivers that have statistically done well at that week's track. Makes sense from a business standpoint; they'd want to have the best possible chance of having the featured drivers be on the lead lap and running up front (and possibly winning the darn race). And they'd want to have the more popular drivers as often as possible too. They've got to pick drivers who the majority of the people watching that race will want to watch. And then I suppose the teams have to be willing to participate in the Hot Pass deal anyway.

I do believe they will feature Kasey at least a couple times this year. Just not at a plate race or a road course, they're just not his strong points. I'm thinking we'll see him featured on one or more of the intermediate tracks.
