Rolex 24 At Daytona features some NASCAR drivers: the Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve for the 45th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona weekend started Thursday with Alex Gurney, son of racing legend, Dan Gurney, taking the pole position for the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Thursday. The race is run on the 3.56-mile, 14-turn Daytona road course. The clock on the Rolex 24 will start on Saturday at 1:30pm/et and with live television coverage begining at 1:00pm/et on FOX. NASCAR drivers who will participate in the Rolex 24 at Daytona at Dayona Intl Speedway include: Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, Tony Stewart, Bobby Labonte, AJ Allmendinger, Bill Lester and Boris Said.(DIS PR), for news and live scoring, see grand-am.com.(1-26-2007)

I was watching some of this and it's confusing (the whole 2 races in one thing that someone mentioned earlier). Anyway, I went to the website and was looking at the teams and such... turns out, the guy that owns the company my mom works for is racing! How odd is that? I was like "mom...." and she was like "what? no!" Haha.. anyway, him and his son are 2 of the drivers in the #47.. it's Charles and Rob Morgan. Anywho, odd tidbit of info I just thought I'd share for fun.... off to get ready for work :(
