I know we were all wondering if Kasey was testing the busch car. Here's our answer
-----------
Nearly 50 drivers representing more than 30 teams are expected to
participate in NASCAR Busch Series testing at Daytona International
Speedway in two sessions beginning Friday.
Teams that were in even-number positions in the car owner standings as
of July 12, 2006, are scheduled to test Friday through Sunday, Jan. 21
while teams in even-number positions in the car owner standings will
test from Sunday through Tuesday.
"It's great to get back to the track and see all the new names and the
new talent," NASCAR Busch Series Director Joe Balash said.
An international flair is expected for the first week, with Colombian
Juan Pablo Montoya in a Chip Ganassi Racing Dodge and Australian
Marcos Ambrose driving for Wood Brothers/JTG Racing.
Among the those scheduled to test Busch cars over the next five days
are Indy Racing League champion Sam Hornish (for Penske Racing South),
Casey Mears (for Hendrick Motorsports) and Bill Elliott (for Evernham
Motorsports). (SCENEDAILY)
I'd like to see Bill race in some Busch races for Evernham Motorsports this season. Even though Bill's testing the 9 car, I think that I read somewhere that Kasey will be racing the 9 car there this February, but I could be wrong.
that is sweet, I hope Bill runs some races for EMS and runs the 4th Cup car anytime they run it.
I don't think Kasey went down to Busch testing last year either so it doesn't surprise me that he isn't this year either.
That's cool! Good luck to Bill!
:nan2 :nan2 :nan2 Woo hoo, Awesome Bill!!
