LOS ANGELES - Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are officially kaput.

The duo — dating since 2003 — confirmed their split Thursday in a joint statement.

“We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship, and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another,” the pair said.

The two said they usually prefer not to comment on their relationship, but recent speculation and inaccuracies prompted them to issue the statement.

Timberlake just launched his “FutureSex/LoveSounds” tour and his feature film, “Alpha Dog,” is scheduled to open Friday. Diaz most recently appeared in the romantic comedy, “The Holiday,” with Kate Winslet.

I've heard great things about the Holiday -- I really want to see it.

I liked them together, but it seems they parted amicably, so I'm coming to terms with it. :hehe

Well. Let me restate that. I don't mind if he goes back to Britney if it helps clean her up -- because the best Britney we knew was the Justin!Britney. So, if there's that, then I'm perfectly content. She spiraled out of control when they split up. So I guess if it's going to be a mutually bettering type of relationship, that's fine. But if he's with Britney and she's still pulling her pantieless shenanigans then I don't want that. :no

And he's been "seen with Britney" numerous times over the past few years -- he was in the recording studio with her just over the holidays for a while. So I'm not putting too much stock in that.

I do kinda miss the Britney and Justin together thing... they were so cute together... and then it all went down hill... but I agree if it's going to better her and him then I'm all for it... then again it's not like my opinon matters... I wish it did though ha ha

I actually am not a big fan of Justin's but came to terms that Cameron was dating him..then again, I couldn't care less...lol Too bad things ended though, I actually thought they were meant to be...whether I liked it or not...not that I really cared. LOL

I agree with you about Justin and Britney, Carrie. And I did read your comments right this time..I made sure to read it twice!lol Let this be a lesson to all, wake up and wait for about a half hour before posting anything...lol
