My Grandpa passed away today... we got a phone call this morning that he was taken in to the hospital... they thought it was nemonia he ended up having a heart attack and they decided that surgery wasn't an option for him... at about 1:00 the doctor came in and told us he was going to pass it was just a matter of when... my mom, my grandma and my aunt were discussing weather to just pull the plug or let him go on his own... at about 2:30 the nurses ran in and told us he was going... he had, had another major heart attack and there was nothing he could do... I was in the room for a short amount of time... but I couldn't watch him die... luckily I had been in the room with him earlier when he was coherent and I told him about getting straight A's and he was really proud and happy that in 6 months I'm graduating...

Any who I'm really sorry I'm sitting here writing this long drawn out thing... I may be MIA for a while just to let you all know... and if you could just pray for my family... I'm OK... but my grandma who has alzhiemers is really torn up right now... they were married for 46 years... and he's the reason she came here from Germany after World War II so if you could say some extra prayers for her... I'd really appreciate it!

Todays a little hard... it's my Dad's birthday and usually ALL of us get together for it and celebrate New Years together... and this year we will be short one member...

I'm doing OK... I'm in the numb stage right now... and I really just don't want to do much of anything... I'm finding it really hard to be chipper about much of anything... but I know it's all part of grieving...

So the funeral is tomorrow at 2PM... my grandma wanted the kids (my mom, her sister and brother) and then their spouses (my dad and uncle josh) and then the grandkids (me, my sister and my lil' cousin) to carry the casket... it's going to be a grave site funeral... and the graveyard is all of three blocks from my house so... grandpa will be close...

I'm not doing as well as I thought I was doing... one of the kids today at my work had a bib that said "I love Grandpa" on and i burst in to tears... so... yeah... I'm not really blaming anyone else for what happened... for some reason I'm blamming myself... a lot... any who... please just keep my family in your prayers.
