Okay guys tomorrow and Monday I'm gonna be doing some major changes to the board......

so if there are pictures, articles, fan fic stories, etc, etc you want...........save them cause I don't know what is going to happen when I do some of the things :)

I hate the cryptic-ness of this. I hope the changes are positive ones, though.

I believe they will be positives for all of us who want to have fun and support Kasey :)

I apologize that the changes haven't taken place yet.

My internet has been cutting in and out all weekend long.....it looks as if our provider has it all fixed now so hopefully I can work on the changes the next few days.

I am working a tough schedule at work the next couple of weeks so it may take some time that I wasn't expecting to get the changes done, one co-worker is gone for a whole week coming up in a few days and another just found out her son got himself in some serious trouble and she is probably going to have to go spend a couple of weeks back in WVA, which leaves me as the only full-time employee around.

I hate when life gets in the way of me getting things done around here when I want....

but I will get them done, hopefully before testing starts so we can start the new NASCAR season with a fresh look.

Can anyone believe that its only a week until testing? WOOOHOOO

I can explain plenty and I'm always happy to do so......

a new board is being given a trial run by members we've invited and we are trying some theories out, if things work then they work and this board eventually goes away. If things don't work how I think they might, then this board may come back just with some changes.....

we only invited certain members to start with so that we could get a feel for what we were thinking and see how it goes. I can tell you one thing the "new version of RK" is going to stay with a very strict approval process, that is one thing I intend to keep no matter what I and the rest of the gang decide to do about everything else. I tried my hardest for a long time to keep the board open to everyone and honestly that just caused more problems than it was worth. I cannot express how many times I've had people come to me or another mod/admin in the past few months and tell me they do not like coming to the board anymore. I can honestly say I felt the same way, they were worried that if they posted something then it was going to be jumped on and that I don't want around here. And it might would shock some people who they thought would jump on them or who they didn't want to bother to post back too because it was only going to be a "I agree with and defend "insert whoever" type of response so many people have started leaving this board because of that. So the new board is a trial to see if we can work out those issues and see if we can't get the board back to the way it once was.

I really hope that in the future I can either let everything just come back to this board with some changes or have everything switch over to the new board with everyone coming and enjoying themselves. It's my hope, it may not be possible and that may make some people angry and I really hate that cause thats never my intention or my desire. But in the end I have to do what I feel is best for the majority of the board and call this selfish if you want, but what is best for me as a person. Cause I can honestly say there have been some things in the past months that have made me bitter even past just on the board and that is something I refuse to keep doing, especially when I started this board years ago with just the intent of Kasey fans having fun. I can tell you from my viewpoint and many others it really wasn't fun anymore. I'm sure many of you have noticed many times when I wouldn't be around and a lot of that had to do with I just didn't have the desire to come here and have to try and worry about who is fighting with who or belitting who, etc, etc........instead of coming here to have fun with other Kasey fans. When I and others were getting bitched at on here for sharing our experiences of meeting Kasey just cause we had met him multiple times in a short span was the ultimate slap in the face of what this board was about. I won't deny it hurt me, but finally I took a step to try and see if I can fix the problem. If you notice the "important message" thread was started quite awhile ago, it took me this long to finally put a plan into action because I tried constantly to talk myself out of it, I tried constantly to tell myself that it wasn't worth it. At the same time I had that voice in the back of my mind telling me that I had to at least try something to see if I could get the board back to how I wanted it and how others want it.

So I'm trying something, we'll see if it works......I am sorry for those of you who feel left out, it is not the intention. The new board is meant to be so that I can figure out a way that I don't have to worry about having to make a post about this long every time I come on the board, cause if you read through all of this message. Kudos to ya! But everyone at this board shouldn't have to feel that every thread is going to come to this or worse as it has in some cases. Or worry that their opinion is going to be treated with hatred or their choices of life belittled. And we are all guilty of it, thats a fact of life we have all said something that we shouldn't have. So I won't sit here and say I'm not guilty of it cause I know I am, it happens and most of us understand that to a point. But there are people who constantly have done it and made some people on this board not post here anymore because of it and I ignored the problem cause I wanted an open board and now I'm not ignoring the problem anymore.

I'll end this with ultimately the board is about Kasey and really I've felt lately its not at all about that anymore. Thats one thing I really want to change and I hope its a problem I can fix. Who knows maybe it isn't and maybe I just may delete this board and the new board and not worry about anything anymore. But my hope is for it not to come to that cause I've been blessed and I know many of you have also to meet lifelong friends from this board or being a Kasey fan. For that and all of you I'm grateful.

And if this jumbled bunch of words makes sense, then there I've said my peace. We'll see how the trial goes and go from there.

Kelly, from what I get a group of people were randomly picked for a trial period to just test everything out. Then she will see whether she wants to get rid of Rk or get rid of the test board. If she gets rid of this board she'll send invitations or something out for people to join the new board.
