I'm a University of Arizona Wildcats fan. Any other College B-ball fans?

NeverBeenThawed - December 20, 2006 01:40 AM (GMT)
Really now...I'm the only one here who watches college b-ball?

carriekins - December 20, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
WHAT? THE WILDCATS?

I want a divorce. Sun Devils all the WAY!

But, in all seriousness, this is a Duke/NC State household.

Katie9 - December 20, 2006 01:51 AM (GMT)
Go Gophers!

and

Duke (since they know how to play)

Hehe. Yeah, mom is an alum. And UofA is great at Bball. I'm all about some ASU Sun Devils for football since Andrew Walter played there and he came out of my hometown.

Okay, if mom is alumnus, I'll let it slide. But that's the ONLY way. :hehe

I almost went there, too. But, I didn't. Obviously. But I do have some respect for ASU so we're okay, I hope. B)

ps. I'm really bad at the alum/alumni/alumnus thing in spite of the fact that there is a Gilmore Girls episode that explains it.

I don't know WHAT you are talking about :lmao

Helena, I've heard the same thing... we had a sophmore set a scoring record at our school... it was insane... the PAC 10 has really stepped it up this year!

The Pit Crew shirts for U of O this year have the schedule on the back and the last one says "Tourny or bust" LOL... might actually work this year :)

Katie41 - December 26, 2006 05:13 AM (GMT)
DUKE!

and Texas A&M. I LOVE them.

mcangel07 - December 28, 2006 02:00 PM (GMT)
alright, i gotta represent the boys in baby blue

GO TARHEELS!!!!

i hate to agree with the statement that the pac 10 is stronger than the acc...the only teams that will be strong will of course be UNC, duke, and maybe maryland.

You know it's nothin' personal when I say this...

Cougars eat Duck for dinner. Even in Basketball season. :)

I bleed CRIMSONand GRAY

carriekins - December 28, 2006 03:15 PM (GMT)
There was a spirited Duke vs. Tar Heels 'discussion' at my friends' last night. There were like 8 or 9 people there, and it was pretty evenly divided. Oy vey.

Traci - December 28, 2006 06:46 PM (GMT)
It's Crimson and White for me.

Alabama all the way! Roll Tide!!

NeverBeenThawed - December 31, 2006 09:21 PM (GMT)
Woo!! 11 in a row! Go 'cats!

NeverBeenThawed - January 5, 2007 05:10 AM (GMT)
Tough loss for Oregon tonight.

Currently Arizona is leading Washington 90-86 with 3:37 to go.

ETA: 12 in a row baby!!

mcangel07 - January 6, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
FYI--Oregon beat #1 UCLA 68-66 :)

NeverBeenThawed - January 6, 2007 09:37 PM (GMT)
Which thrills me, because with a win tonight, UofA takes over the conference lead on their own.

mcangel07 - January 6, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
With UCLA's loss and with a win tomorrow night, my boys have a chance at overtaking the #1 spot in the country. GO UNC!!

Chance2GetJSnider - January 8, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
Duke and Univeristy of Alabama

Same - January 8, 2007 03:49 AM (GMT)
#4 Badgers play #6 Ohio State on tuesday.

I will be watching that. :)

I'm glad the Badgers are playing at home for this one.

:clap :clap

We have "Pit Crew" shirts (they call Mac Court the pit) and on the back they say "tourny or bust"... they keep playing like they are playing and we'll have a pretty good chance of being in the tourny!!

I was so freaking excited when they won... the Ducks are showing what Oregon Basketball truely is!

And the Ducks haven't lost a basketball game to the Cougars in the past 5 years... last tiem the Ducks lost to the Cougars was Feb of 2001 :)

Same - January 14, 2007 05:41 PM (GMT)
UNC and Clemson both got beat yesterdayy. :o

I saw the UNC game, they almost came back and won it.

mcangel07 - January 14, 2007 07:06 PM (GMT)
yeah, my boys almost came back to win. just goes to show how important it is to win on the road in the ACC and everywhere else. it was a test and we'll learn from it. GO TARHEELS!

Nic C. - January 15, 2007 03:11 AM (GMT)
Woo Hoo The Ducks beat Arizona!!

I :hearts Aaron Brooks (#0) he is my hero!

NeverBeenThawed - January 15, 2007 03:11 AM (GMT)
Bleh. Seriously. Bleh. Oh well, though. It's not as though I go there so I don't invest a lot into UofA's games.

The Ducks beat Stanford on Thursday and Cal tonight... we're moving on up :) hopefully... can't wait to see the polls for this week!

Nic C. - January 23, 2007 02:19 AM (GMT)
New Rankings for week 12 are up...

The Ducks moved up to 7th in both polls! :clap :na

Nic C. - January 26, 2007 09:49 PM (GMT)
:no The Ducks lost to Washington last night :no Aaron had to miss the game due to serving the final game of his 3 game suspension... but I don't think it's fair to say we lost cause Aaron didn't play...

Ducks better light the fire... they got WSU on Saturday... they've beat em every time for the past 5 years... no need for that streak to end...

kaseylover9dodge - January 29, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)
its all about DUKE!!!
