Kasey Kahne

Kasey Kahne finally broke through like we have been waiting for since he started his rookie season and nearly won about five races. Kahne was terrific at the mile and half tracks … other than that it was a hit or miss but it’s kind of hard to deny six wins. There is certainly room to improve though … at pretty much all of the tracks that aren’t one and a half or two miles in length but this team is growing and improving continually. It may not be their year next year either but they will be closer to the championship. Kahne now has the supporting cast around him and better teammates … it’s only a matter of time.

:clap Congrats to Kasey and his whole team and everyone at Evernham. They really had a great year and he definitely deserves that grade!!!! :)

also worth mentioning

B-

Scott Riggs

This season did not start so well for Riggs, who missed the field for the Daytona 500, but what they accomplished after that was pretty incredible. Riggs still finished 20th in the final championship standings, which means that despite missing a race he finished ahead of 12 other drivers who raced in every race. Riggs finished with eight Top 10 finishes and the 10 team has established themselves as a threat to finish in the Top 10 on a fairly regular basis … pretty good for a first-year group.

and sweet grade for the 10 team, and as much crap as i give all the announcers and such for always mentioning him missing 'that race' lol... they made a great point with it here...miss the first and biggest race and still finish that good.
