Personally, I think the "she was joking" thing is pure BS. And I think Faith's statetment to the media about it was like she was totally above everything, which is also BS. "I can't believe anybody would think I would ever do something like that."

Carrie's CD -- hell, Carrie's whole YEAR -- has been significantly more impactful and just overall great than Faith's. So, while I'm still a bit surprised Carrie won given the nominees, in no way do I think it was undeserved. And she DEFINITELY DID NOT deserve Faith Hill being a sore loser bitch.

i totally believe that now... at first i didn't but if you watch the video after reading that she was joking you can so tell that she is... she's kind of giggling before hand and they call Carrie's name she's a little hesitant and then throws her hands up and to the camera (emphasis to the camera - if she was genunine she wouldn't be doing it to the camera) she says WHAT.... you can so tell now

Whether this whole thing was a joke or not, it was really disrespectful to Carrie. Having seen the video of Carrie's acceptance speech, this award meant a lot to her. People should be talking about that and not Faith's stunt.

I wasn't watching the awards but I watched the video and I was like "WOW" I can't believe Faith acted that way.

The radio this morning was talking about this, again, and they all changed their mind to say she was joking after she released her statement.

I still say she acted really crappily, it wasn't a joke, and she's trying to cover her ass.

that was a pretty lame joke (even tho i don't think it was) she's let all the fame get to her so now she expects everything.
