Yes he does look down, and tired. These last 3 weeks have really taken their toll on the boy. He needs to take some time for himself. I think the last week running both races took alot out him. Then with the wreck he has had a really crappy week. It can only get better. He can't get worse than he is right know.



He was just on the speed report, and didn't sound too discouraged. Said that he was happy to be in the Chase, looking forward to the last two races, and excited about next year.

he does need a hug. :(

Of course he was down. He had a great car and was going to have a top 5 finish and then the engine died.

Poor Kasey, he has just had it so hard lately. HUGS FOR KASEY!

That sucks for tonight. But, hey, this time last year, they were 20 some odd in points and with one win under their belt. This year has been awesome for them and it'll be awesome next year.
I didn't want to see him finish the race like that. So, I'll give him a hug too!

Well I think that he needs a haircut.

I know...I know...I should probably be hiding from most of you right now.

But face it.

The kid always does better right after he gets his hair cut. :nod

Awe, yeah, he looked pretty disappointed :( . But he handled what had happened really well...he couldn't help what went wrong tonight. Onward to two more weeks of awesome racing!

I just hope that he doesn't cut it too short before the awards ceremony. He doesn't need to look any younger than he already does at the ceremony. Maybe that's why he's not cutting it. Probably not but just a thought.

I agree with all that's been said... onward to next week I'm seeing a good final two races!

And he did win the MOST races this year.

As compared to one last year, and none the year before, I'd say I'm pretty damn happy with 6 wins!

it was hard seeing him at that race last night... his voice was like "this is the end. we have no chance now" like. It was so sad to know that he was so excited to be going to texas and to win, and then have his hopes just break like that ...

I don't hate it long. I just like it at the in between stage best. I actually loved the curl in the back with his hat on last night.

It was great getting to see him race yesterday. He did sound very upset on the scanner, but he did an awesome job no matter where he finished or where he finishes in the Chase. He has had an awesome year, and will have many more great years to come!

:nod agreed. It just broke my heart when he got out of the race. His face was so sad and depressed but I can totally understand and I don't blame him but his interview was awesome b/c he was smileing and that made me happy.

Maybe I just take it a little too hard... I've been feeling down the last few days and been a little over emotional and when that happened :(

Anyway, I am very excited about next year. But I just wish we didn't have to wait 3 months. lol. I am so impatient sometimes..

As for his hair... I love it the way it is right now!! If he must sacrifice wins to looks like that... so be it. :lmbo

Don't worry. I was really sad when I saw that he was 10th in points. He was just doing so well and to have him not even finish the race really got me upset.
