Okay, so a handful of you might not know who Doogie Howser was. Oh well.
Neil Patrick Harris Comes OutLOS ANGELES -
Neil Patrick Harris is gay and wants to quell any rumors to the contrary. "(I) am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest," Harris tells People magazine's Web site.
The 33-year-old actor said he was motivated to disclose his sexuality because of recent "speculation and interest in my private life and relationships."
Harris stars on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother." He started on TV as a teen, playing the namesake doctor on the series "Doogie Howser, M.D."

To me, that's as surprising as Lance Bass.
And what is it with people coming out to People? I guess they're more 'respected' than US Weekly or something. Tee hee.

I'm not suprised either... I SWEAR he came out a long time ago... not when he was Doogie but... I swear a couple of years ago when he was doing Broadway I swear her made a similar announcement... hmmm that or I just knew... hmm

I was surprised by this one...Doogie Howser was one of my favorite shows growing up as a kid, and now watching him on How I Met Your Mother..yes this surprises me. He plays the biggest womanizer on that show..he's one hell of an actor I guess because he fooled me.
