in my english class we have to make a skit and we have to pretend to be Asians,Austrailians and Californians...

we have to use Intransitive phrases i think that are like "Killing time" and like "Chill out"

its stuff like that becuase you cant really "kill" time or "chill" out...

can you guys help me and name some other words like that ....

im doing a skit with 6 people infront of my crush too!! grrr this sucks...

but we are like pretending we are in a jungle....

if you could help i would reallllly appriciate it!

It's a similie. A metaphor doesn't use the words "like" or "as"...

Sorry I had to study the difference between the two for my teacher certification exam last month.
