Title: We Wonder...

... how close did Kasey Kahne come to losing 25 points on Sunday?

Kahne was speaking to one of the pit reporters about his contact with David Stremme when he inexplicably broke from typical robot, sponsor-throwing driver character to real human being. It was refreshing -- and it almost cost him 25 points.

Kahne said he told Stremme it was his fault then Kahne said Stremme stayed on him, to which Kahne said "I told you it was my fault" followed by some inaudible, points-saving sounds.

Well done, Kasey.

I'll fill in the blanks for the people that missed it or don't have a creative immagination...

"...shut the F*** up" "get that S*** outta here" (or out of my face, can't remember).

I think he was beyond flustered at himself...and then at david streme for being a dumb ass after the wreck.

I htink it was more a "Dude I ran you over, get the (insert 4 letter word opposite to heaven) out of there" and "shut the Fbomb up"

I just rewatched the interview and you are correct.

Good self-control there!

I agree with the good job at self control. I can tell you I wouldn't have been able to control myself if someone got in my face like that. I'd be screaming at them like no tomorrow. I'd have cost my team beyond 25 points for everything I would have said.

You know you guys are right, I really don't know how any driver can stay so composed after these things... I would be screaming, yelling and throwing things.. Anyway, Kasey did an awesome job saving himself in that interview, I was wondering if they were gonna fine him for that.

I don't know if I'd call Kasey's interview this weekend composed... but none the less he showed the emotion that people have been complaining about him NOT showing... he's not the first driver to do it and certainly wont be the last!
