My roommate is certifiably insane, I think.

She is a hypochondriac. And has had at least 4 boyfriends, maybe 5? Since January. And countless other "guy friends." (aka fuck buddies).

So. She went down to the Air Force Academy this weekend. She has at least 2 ex boyfriends down there---one of which is kinda an off and on bf--maybe a fuck buddy? I dunno. So she gets back today and I im'ed her---"how was the game?" and she's like "worst weekend ever" and I'm like...okay...so I asked what made it so awful and she's like "I don't want to talk about it." It's like...grr. Don't tell me it's awful because that means that I have to offer the faux sympathy. So I stopped talking to her.

Well, tonight. Tonight she comes back with paintball guns and paintballs.

And sets up a target. With a drawing of Jesse (I know he's an ex-boyfriend, but now...boyfriend? fuck buddy? the world may never know) on it saying "Jesse is a fuckwad and must die"

And this is where I'm like...(and I actually told her)...You've gone off the deep end. And I left.

I'm like...no. No fucking way.

So she calls me twice and sends me a text apologizing. Saying she only shot it three times, and that she's sorry.

That's good of her but she can't keep playing these fucking dramatic little games. I don't feel sorry for her any more. She needs a good shrink.

If she tries to apologize in person I'm going to tell her how I really feel. I'm over it. 100% completely over it.

I'll just change my life on my way home on Monday to stop in Colorado instead of coming home. I'll send for the rest of my crap when I get there :nod

She has to remember, you have to live there too. That shit would be fine if she lived on her own, but you live there too.

yeah usually when they notice you ain't gonna play the games they realize a bit. Just tell her like it is and go on.

In the dorm it wasn't my room mate i had a similar off the deep end problem with it was our adjacent hall person. Newhoo...my roomie and I were friends with the RA and her suite mate. the Suitemate was a bit off. She'd get all crying and hyperventilating for attention and always have drama...when we began ignoring it she would suddenly switch it off and go into angry mode. so yeah. my room mate and I had to start screening our knocks on the door.
