There was alleged copyright & intellectual property violations with Nascar Drivers 360 so its creators were sued.
kahnefanforever - October 25, 2006 01:46 PM (GMT)
So that's why it's not on anymore, I loved that show.
Scrapbookgirl9 - October 25, 2006 03:04 PM (GMT)
I'll look forward to this show........ESPN really is going all out for NASCAR
Hollee - October 25, 2006 04:24 PM (GMT)
:clap
YAY. Can't wait to see what other drivers they feature!
Katrina9 - October 25, 2006 04:36 PM (GMT)
Yah! I'm really excited to see this new show. I really liked NASCAR Drivers 360 and wish it was still on. It was a great show. 7 days isn't so bad either it's kind of a NASCAR 360 except it's just based on one team instead of a couple of drivers. I still like it though.
Katy - October 25, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
What exactly are they gonna follow Jeremy around doing?
Sittin on his ass?
*snickers*
Sorry...
I never really liked him.

I can't wait to see the show. That is if I don't forget it is one like always.
NeverBeenThawed - October 25, 2006 07:30 PM (GMT)
I was never a huge fan of the show when it was Nascar Drivers: 360 so I doubt I'll go out of my way to watch this one.
Hollee - October 25, 2006 07:42 PM (GMT)
i'll prolly miss this one. it all depends on who all they have on the show.

ESPN has no deal with NASCAR Images, has to hit the brakes on new reality-based show
By JIM UTTER
The Charlotte Observer
HAMPTON, Ga. - ESPN will not debut its show “NASCAR Drivers’ Non-Stop” this week as several media outlets – and some Nextel Cup Series teams involved – originally reported.
The teams of rookies Clint Bowyer and J.J. Yeley issued pre-race news releases this week trumpeting their involvement in the show, which was to air Sunday night on ESPN2.
"We were planning for the debut of some behind-the-scenes specials this weekend, but have not completed an agreement with NASCAR Images,” said ESPN spokesman George McNeilly. “ESPN anticipates airing some 'NASCAR Drivers’ Non-Stop' programs in the near future.”
According to the espn.com Web site, a programming schedule for Sunday, Nov. 5, shows “NASCAR Drivers’ Non-Stop” airing at 10 p.m. Eastern. The program is a reality-based show and the first episode includes footage of Bowyer, Yeley and driver Jeremy Mayfield.

As Colleen313 noted yesterday :) in the 7 Days/Beyond The Wheel cancellation thread, this Drivers Non-Stop show airs at 10 p.m. ET tonight on ESPN2. (Thanks for the reminder!)
Just checked zap2it. It's only airing once (at least in my area) with no repeats. There is a new episode next week at the same time.
None of my favorite drivers are on it, but supposedly they were filming the week Jeremy got fired, so that might be interesting if they show the aftermath of that. B)
Scrapbookgirl9 - November 6, 2006 02:22 AM (GMT)
I had totally forgotten about this show!
SD#1KaseyFan - November 6, 2006 03:59 AM (GMT)
Anyone watching this show. It's with Jeremy during the Cali race. And there is a part where Elliott said that he was going to try and drive Kasey's set up. Then Shana said "how many times did you say to try Kasey's setup."
Court - November 6, 2006 03:59 AM (GMT)
That was a good episode.. JJ getting waxed.. then him and his wife almost doing the hibbity jibbity lmao But I LOVE seeing him with his daughter.. SO cute!
Clint cracks me up.. end of story lmfao
And Jeremy.. *shakes head*
SD#1KaseyFan - November 6, 2006 04:04 AM (GMT)
As far as the Jeremy thing. I think there is a lot more that went on than anyone knows, or will ever know. But what surprised me was them saying that Jeremy wanted to run Kasey's setup, and I got the impression that Jeremy said he could drive Kasey's setup.
One of those, three different sides things again. Ray's, Jeremy's, and the truth.
Court - November 6, 2006 04:07 AM (GMT)
Yeah.. and the fact that he couldn't watch the end of that race when Kasey won.
SD#1KaseyFan - November 6, 2006 04:08 AM (GMT)
I was wondering how he would react to seeing Kasey win. I guess he didn't even see it.
Court - November 6, 2006 04:09 AM (GMT)
That's what I kept saying to Jen.. "I wonder how he'll react to seeing his former teammate win"
SD#1KaseyFan - November 6, 2006 04:13 AM (GMT)
I had mixed feelings when I first started watching it and saw Jeremy and Shana. But when I saw it was Cali weekend, I thought to myself "This could get interesting"
I don't no about anyone else, but Shana kind of annoys me.
Court - November 6, 2006 04:20 AM (GMT)
I only paid attention to Clint and JJ.. they're they only ones that made me laugh lol

I liked this show.
* That was weird how much the show was almost exactly like NASCAR 360. Which is confusing since ESPN (not ESPN2) is supposed to bring back the original NASCAR 360 next year. The intros, the graphics, the interviews - they even tried to make the theme music very similar. They also had that graphic where the SUV changes into the race car, just like 360.
* Shana is annoying IMO, but I thought her dyed dark brown hair (in the interview parts) really looked good, it made her eyes stand out. Clint Bowyer's girlfriend and JJ Yeley's wife seem very likeable and down to earth.
*The Mayfield's new house is HUGE just like Kevin and Delana Harvick's new house (which was on 7 Days a couple of weeks ago).
* JJ Yeley's facial expressions while getting his back and chest waxed "so I don't look like Tony Stewart"- were hilarious.
* I guess Casey Mears and David Stremme and David Gilliland will be on soon (next week?), since they were in the intros.
*It was funny when Shana was looking at the USA Today article and said, "first the New York Times, now USA TODAY". She was talking about those big articles about Erin and Ray that came out in late August. That was interesting to see, since they were being discussed here at that time as well. I don't agree with the Mayfield's "woe is me" attitude - I think both sides are at fault - but it was pretty cool to be able to actually see their reactions as all that was going on.

I watched it. Missed the beginning. But I liked it.

:wave Retarded me missed it....I always forget about shows.
Jen - November 6, 2006 05:44 PM (GMT)
I loved the show.. JJ and Clint were great. And poor JJ.. haha
I was told that the NASCAR 360 cameras were going to be following Clint around so they could put the show back on air. This was back in.. August? So... it is the same show, just... since they moved it, it's likely they needed to change the name and the music a bit.
boogity25 - November 6, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
JJ was awesome. I loved watching him.
The next show on the 12th is a repeat of last night's. There are two more shows on the 19th and 26th. Which feature Casey, Stremme, and Gilliland. I know the 19th is a new one. Not sure if the 26th would be a new episode or the repeat of the Nov. 19th show.
