Title: Dierks or Nascar

Princess_Sara400 - October 18, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
Ok here's the thing, Dierks is coming to my town and its on Sunday the 28th. Should I miss the race to see Dierks? I haven't missed a race since 2004.

Leah - October 18, 2006 04:57 AM (GMT)
dude, i'm going to my 7th dierks concert in a month and every single concert is just the time of my life. you can tape the race, dude. i do that every week cause i definitely can't always be seeing the races live, life happens. so see dierks you will definitely regret if you don't.

Hollee - October 18, 2006 05:28 AM (GMT)
RACE...NASCAR...of course I'm not biased at all...lol

lalabee - October 18, 2006 12:47 PM (GMT)
Seeing something live vs. watching something on TV? No question. Go to the concert.

kelly - October 18, 2006 03:16 PM (GMT)
Dierks!!!! I've never seen him but he seems way more excting then a race. ;)

kimmerlh - October 18, 2006 04:08 PM (GMT)
i agree..something live over something on tv...def live! and I've seen Dierks twice, once was during race time and I was fine! lmao

Hollee - October 18, 2006 04:59 PM (GMT)
oh wait see i thought you were actually GOING to the race. well now that i know it's just on TV...DIERKS!

NeverBeenThawed - October 18, 2006 06:06 PM (GMT)
Dierks. But who names their child that?

lalabee - October 18, 2006 06:12 PM (GMT)
I've never heard of this Dierks. He has to be country.

NeverBeenThawed - October 18, 2006 06:14 PM (GMT)
He's country. I know they kept playing him a lot at the picnic last week, if you were there for that.

lalabee - October 18, 2006 06:27 PM (GMT)
Nope. Didn't go to the picnic. I don't listen to country and I can porbably only name country singers who aren't even popular anymore. I did know a line dance to Achy Breaky Heart in Jr. High, though. It was a cheerleading line dance, but a line dance, none the less.

NeverBeenThawed - October 18, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
Oh, okay. I listen to a lot of country so I know who he is. And Carrie ADORES him.

carriekins - October 18, 2006 06:58 PM (GMT)
Carrie does adore him but gave up seeing him for the race this past weekend. HAHAHAHAHA!

However, the only reason I gave up Dierks is because I had a fabulous person staying with me -- and hi, KASEY WON! So it was worth it.

The good news is, Dierks does a TON of shows, and is always touring. So if you miss him now, chances are really good that he'll be back near you in a few months. I've seen him 3 times in the past couple years and he gets better and better. I LOVE HIM! LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!

And yeah, massive Dierks play-age at the picnic. Go Kasey!

NeverBeenThawed - October 18, 2006 07:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Kasey won!!!!! Woohoo! I think that's worth skipping Dierks for.

Princess_Sara400 - October 19, 2006 12:31 AM (GMT)
my luck Kasey will win and I'll miss it. I still have to see if I can get tickets

Chance2GetJSnider - October 19, 2006 03:10 AM (GMT)
i want to see dierks but he isnt coming to sc. it makes me very sad b/c i never get to see anyone in concert.

carriekins - October 19, 2006 03:49 AM (GMT)
Dude, he was just in Columbia in August. And in Myrtle Beach in like June. He goes to SC a lot, it's just always MB, Greenville-Spartanburg, or Columbia. If you don't mind a little roadtrip, you'll get to see him. :)

I will roadtrip wherever he wants me to, yo. I adoooooore him. I have a softspot for fellow Phoenix peeps. B)

Katie41 - October 19, 2006 03:56 AM (GMT)
Definately go to see Dierks!

He came to the rodeo here in February and I missed it and totally regretted it :(

So yeah, go! :)

Princess_Sara400 - October 19, 2006 04:02 AM (GMT)
They have tickets but they are pretty far back but the venue is tiny. I'm trying to talk my mom into going with me cause I don't want to go by myself

carriekins - October 19, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
The venues he's playing on this tour aren't massive, so there's really not a bad seat in the house. We had General Admission floor seats 2 weeks ago, and the floor was only like, half full. It was AWESOME!

Duly noted, Miss Christy. Duly noted. :)

Princess_Sara400 - October 20, 2006 03:38 AM (GMT)
Well now that I had my car accident I can't go. I still have to call about the ticket tomorrow and get my car fixed... and there goes all my money. Thank god I didn't buy the tickets yet

carriekins - October 20, 2006 03:41 AM (GMT)
I'm sorry to hear that, Sara. Just try to remember that everything happens for a reason. Hang in there.
