for the second straight week in a row......they were priceless on the scanner

I'll start with some highlights and let others fill in today while I'm working

-Kasey singing

-Telling the crew at the end "talk"

-Kenny getting so pissed about that pit stall and Kasey telling him "its okay, just keep doing what your doing" and I so had a Tommy moment(I do still love Tommy)

- no one wants to read the disclaimer, LOL

- yelling at Kole

I'm here at work too, first day back sucks :(

- I loved the end when he was yelling 'that's six, that's six' I will never forget the sound of elation in his voice

- I think my favorite part was him being pissed and yelling at Kole when he said 'now, I want you to tell me nnnoooww, was it 2 feet, 3 feet 6 feet I need to know how far to drive down" and Kole was all timid 'uh, 3 feet' I don't know if that's exactly what was said but that was the jist of it

From what we heard on Saturday night I was rolling. They were all hysterical on Saturday night that's for sure.

It sucks cause I didn't have a scanner. :( Next year I will most def be renting one for all weekend.

Luckily we had y'all at the race... Jen how many times did the scanner go out Saturday night... we were up to what 4 times... and it sucked cause at one point I got a text from Christy that said "kasey was signing" GAH!!

I think it was four or five. It depends on what you count "times it went out"... LOL How many times did they "have the problem solved"? That is the question...

Gah! What we heard was entertaining, but I wish we could've heard everything.

My favorite part was "Wheels straight, foot on the brake!"

With the hand motion countdown! WOOOOOO!

So, what else was funny on the scanner? Oh! Yeah!

The caution when there were only 3 people on the lead lap: "WHERE DO I GO!?!??!"

I thought Kenny was pretty funny when he said 'fuck' rapid fire, like 10 times when Kasey almost got hit on pit road, and calling the pit stall a pain in the ass

Needless to say, Kenny will not choose stall 15 ever again. EVER! So I guess he's just gonna have to knock Scooty off the pole...

I doubt any of you vered off Kasey's radio, but if you didn't you missed a good show.

Harvick kept telling his bush team they sucked, "no excuses", "ya'll are going to be finding new jobs on Monday", he was quite the ass hole, but entertaining. Everytime we'd switch to him durring pit stops my mouth would drop open at the things he would say to his pit crew.

Carl and PK were talking about scotts products after the big wreck through the infield and they were talking about cutting grass, PK said something like you don't even cut your grass. Carl said "you're right I paid a guy $100 to cut my grass, then I let it grow so long I had to pay him $250, I'll cut it with scissors on my hands and knees before I pay that much again". I was rolling while Carl and PK were talking...they are some funny fuckers. It was about a 10-15 minute schpel about grass and scotts products, funny stuff.

I got a little scared when Kasey was yelling at Kole for the measurments, and I just wanted to tell Kole that he ment NOW not in 10 minutes...b/c I understood what Kasey was trying to say.

I love the scanners, I think I'm going to buy my fiance one for xmas, that way we don't have to pay $60 each race.

BTW: live scanners at the track...100000000000000000000000x better than the trackpass scanners.

I have a friend whose husband is a former employee of KHI... Harvick did fire a bunch of people after Friday. He's a hothead and that's a lot of why I don't like him.

And Kasey was singing "Bama Breeze" the new song by Jimmy Buffett. He sang one line "at the baaaaaaama breeze" and then just stopped. And nobody said anything to him, and he didn't say anything after that. He can carry a tune, I guess. Too hard to tell. :lmbo

ok am i (and my friend) the only ones who thought he was singing "same old thing" b/c jimmie johnson was in the lead after the last pit stop .... i guess we are...

But I don't cause I get all confused and you can't have it up too loud... and all that jazz... and since I don't want Kenny to chase me down w/ a tire cause I broke the disclaimer!

I just remembered this from the 'where do i go' part of the scanner, when Kasey was one of only 3 cars on the lead lap and Kenny's like 'you gotta come around, hell we'll ask for forgiveness later' LOL

The "Best of" scanner chat is available online through Trackpass for Kasey and Jr. I haven't got to listen to it, but I just thought I'd let y'all know that it's out there.

I listened to it last night. Most of it is Jr.'s, and Kasey's is just the last 4 laps and celebrating. I was hoping they would have the singing on there, but no deal.

I just bought my first scanner last weekend in Charlotte. I'd always used a work one before but I wanted my own 'pretty' one. I bought the most expensive one the Uniden hauler had but it's cool because it's pre-programmed through 2007 and you can find the drivers by car number so you don't have to have the frequency.

Kasey was soooo funny and cute and fiesty Saturday night. He is definitely one of the more entertaining to listen to. I flipped between him and Jimmie and it was so exciting at the end.

Is it sad that I'm wary of going out of town this weekend because I would miss the race and scanner talk?

I felt the same way when I went camping for a week in August... thankfully Jen and Court kept me updated w/ text message updates LOL... it's not the same but it was pretty darn funny... especially when my dad and I were huddled aound the truck like it was a TV listening to the race LAMO

its not sad...........I hate working Sundays and not able to hear all the scanner talk......
