The fan club picnic was amazing! If you haven’t ever been to one I really encourage you to. It’s great meeting so many people that you’ve became friends with on the board, as well as getting the chance to have fun with Kasey and his family. Here are some memorable highlights from my trip:

- Just after arriving a few of us lined up for the bathroom. We were waiting in line patiently when I heard someone say hey to Kasey, turned around and there he was walking down the hall. :huh: :o He looked about as shocked to see us when he rounded the corner as we were to see him. I managed to say hello and Nicole took a breath which she held until he had walked away. It was one of those moments I’ll probably remember for the rest of my life. Ofcourse, it was a surprise moment and my camera wasn’t ready. *grumble, grumble*

- I met Tammy and Kale and had my picture taken separately with both of them. They are both such genuine, nice people and it was really a pleasure meeting them. Tammy also signed the first win diecast that I had autographed by Kasey, so I’m pretty proud of that and it’s sitting on my desk right now.

- I finally met Kasey and had my picture taken with him! I managed to act completely sane and actually wished him good luck. I’m pretty shy until I get to know you so neither of us said very much. It was a neat experience and I’m glad I could be there to show my support and I’m grateful that Kasey took the time to meet all of us and sign autographs.

- There was a question and answer session with Kasey. The highlight of that for me was when he said he couldn’t dance unless it was very late in the evening. He also said that he really liked the Allstate commercial where the girls backed into the scoring pylon and that he just wished the pylon had fell onto a Ford instead of a Dodge. :lmao *smirk*

We all got a gift bag and Puma poster as we left and I also left with over a hundred photographs which I need to get resized and cropped. I’ll post them here once I sort through them all. I had an absolute blast and want to say hello to all the great friends I met today. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and I hope we can do it again soon! :)
