KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger) -- 33rd
"We started off good. The car felt really good, but it just kind of gave up on long runs. It got real tight. I think the track changed a ton. We just weren't quite good enough. We were probably a seventh-12th-place car at the end, and we just missed it on fuel. There's a lot of places we have good fuel mileage, and some cars made it today. We were definitely on the conservative side, so I don't know what happened. They were telling me to conserve, and I was conserving the whole run from start to finish. We thought we were going to have a real good day, and we were going to have an OK day, but that's the way it goes."

its a different Dega for everyone.......its been repaved
and anything can happen at Dega, so I wouldn't say it won't be a wonderful day. If a team goes in thinking it won't be then its probably not going to be, but they are going to go in the same way they always do........believing they can win, which they can
I thought Kasey was going to have a real good day too, but what can you do. You just take it and go on to next weekend and hope for the best.
