Not a great lap for Kasey. Should end up around 35th or so.

Kasey just went and ended up 10th out of 11...

With a good car, it’s pretty easy to pass here. Kasey had a top five car in practice, so they’ll be good in the race. Just missed it in qualifying trim today.

They also have 2 practices left... the guys will get the car handling better, and they'll be ready for the race come Sunday.

Harvick ended up with the pole.. JG 2nd.. ESad 14th.. Scott 23rd.. Kasey 33rd..

2 practices left.. the guys will get the car better and be ready on Sunday. Kasey knows how to drive from the back up to the front, so he knows what he has to do.

"We just slowed down a little bit. We thought we needed to loosen up the car a little bit and we were too loose. I couldn't go any faster. We'll take a bad starting spot on Sunday and see if we can make it better by the end."

I think he'll be fine Sunday, I have faith in him and the team.......they looked great in race trim in practice and Kasey has been able to pass people when no one else could this year, so they'll just pass a whole bunch and head to the front :)

Personally, I always get more enjoyment out of watching him pass people and gain a bunch of spots than leading right off. Yeah, I love to see him up front at the end, of course, but it makes it so much better when you get to see him picking people off one by one on his way to the front. :)

They'll probably get the setup just right tomorrow during practice.
