Title: So I have a bet with Bobby Hamilton Jr

On this morning's Driver Zone with Liz Allison and Bobby Jr, they were talking about the chase and lil bobby said that no driver from 4th back has a chance to win the championship. I was the first caller on and gave my rellief and props to Kahne and crew then went on to school lil bobby on the fact that with the exception of Martinsville (engine) and Dega (victim of the big one) Kahne has posted a top 10 or better (3 wins) at the chase tracks and I'm willing to bet him that Kahne wins or finishes no worse than 3rd in the standings. I will come down to his resturant and flip some burgers if I am wrong and he said he'll be ready for me to feed him one of his favorite dishes. LOL! It's on!

Well, I upheld my end of the bet this morning. I arrived at the Courthouse Cafe at 9:45am for the 10:00 show and they had me wear an apron that Bobby had gotten made special for me. The other guy who jumped on the bet bandwagon was there also. They had us washing dishes and then put me to work on the grill while Brad bussed some tables and folded up some silverware.
During the show, they checked in on us and asked us how things were going. Bobby and I made another bet. The bet I made is that Juan Pablo will finish in the top 25. When I win this bet, Bobby will take me with him to a race and be one of his pit crew members.
One thing that I thought was really cool was that Bobby had been in touch with Kasey several times and had told him about our bet. Bobby was wanting Kasey to call in today but Kasey was going to be unavailable due to testing. Liz Allison said that she is scheduled to interview Kasey this Friday and will get his comments about the bet and the outcome. I thought that was very thoughtful of Bobby to try to get him on the phone and talk to us.
All in all it was a lot of fun and everyone got a big kick out of it. We even had some guys come decked out in Kahne gear who had been listening to the show and they had come to show their support for Kasey and their fellow brethren.
