I don't know what to make of all of that. I admire that they are speaking out about the Fan Club being unfair and the ebay auctions. They SHOULD speak out about those things.
On the other side of the coin is the personal stuff, like the MySpace. Elliott is a person just like everyone else and if he wants to have a MySpace so he can keep in touch with friends, why shouldn't he? These authors are bringing up some personal things and I don't know how I feel about that. Why was it okay for the author to post a picture that belonged to Elliott with that article? When you sign up for MySpace some of the fields are automatically filled in like "Drink/ Smoke". Maybe he never went back and changed it from "no" to "yes". They are making a big deal out of him "lying" to his fans. People are reading too much into things.
As for criticizing him for wanting out because he found out how much money Jamie McMurray was making, how do we know that is the truth? It was said by someone who had just lost not one, but two drivers. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Elliott could have very well brought up Jamie's contract during discussions, and why not? It's not like he would have been comparing himself to Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart. He and Jamie are pretty comprable, with Elliott having the edge, even.
And that is my :1cent .

My sentiments exactly.
Yates wants to blame everyone but himself for the mess he's in.

I happen to be a huge Elliott Sadler fan! His fan club and Kasey's are the only ones I belong to.
Like I've said before, I'm an ELLIOTT SADLER fan...not Ford, not RYR...not M&M (although I do love them!! :good ) and I'll continue to be his fan no matter where he goes. So like all the "rumors"....he could be Kasey's teammate....

Crap happens. No one is perfect. You don't have to like a person of the track to be a fan of them on the track. If you had to like both, there wouldn't be a lot of NASCAR fans.
