Kasey Kahne commits sprint-car team to LVMS World of Outlaws race

Kasey Kahne, the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series rookie of the year, says his sprint-car team and driver Joey Saldana will compete in the Las Vegas World of Outlaws Nationals March 9-10 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's half-mile dirt track.
"We are definitely going to be here in March," said Kahne, during a break from testing his Nextel Cup car on the LVMS superspeedway. "For me, I haven't had any problems with the World of Outlaws. We're up for whatever fits us best. We'll be in Vegas. That's an Outlaws race. If another sanctioning body schedules a race up against it, then we'll just have to miss that race. We'll see what happens. But definitely, my car will be (in Las Vegas)."

Saldana and many of the nation's top sprint-car drivers will take part in the two-day event that coincides with the NASCAR Weekend at LVMS. In addition to the World of Outlaws, Dirt late models also will be a part of the show.
