Well we are having a blast, yesterday was insanely hot(people were passing out it was so bad) but it was a ton of fun. If any of you were watching the truck race right where Dennis started his burn out last night was where I was sitting.

So okay the Kasey updates- someone needs to remind our boy better to check in at first practice yesterday I had them on the scanner and somebody came over and was like Kasey hasn't signed in yet. But Kase was on his way to do that but practice started before he got to the car........whats sad is the guys were like we just told him to do that 4 minutes ago, sounds like someone has to keep reminding Kasey!
Best part of practice was that Kole is Kasey's spotter and Kale holds the pit sign for him so when they had to practice pitting, I got to hear all 3 Kahne's working together........it was adorable. And by the way, Kole is a hottie too. Geez I was like 15 seats away from him when he was walking down from the spotters stand and I was like WOW! To bad I didn't have the camera on to get a pic!
Let me tell ya of all the people that I've ever listened to on the scanner Kasey and Tommy work very well together, Kasey will give him feedback and then Tommy will ask him okay does that mean this or this and Kasey will tell him. Kase wasn't very happy with the car but considering it was during the heat of the day I don't think anyone was.
On to quals........okay let me tell ya if Kasey was speeding then there were about 5 more they didn't catch speeding that were and Kasey was apologizing to the guys so much and it was cute cause he was like "I was so nervous out there cause I didn't know what to expect" I think the worst I heard had to be Jeff Gordon's qual.......if you don't tell the guy to pit until Turn 3 then no wonder he was speeding!!! Idiots! LOL, not that I like Jeff but really I was like you idiots what you were you thinking. Oh yea, back to Kasey.......WHAT a killer stop by the 9 team, it rocked!!!
So non-Kasey........the truck race which was so awesome. I think the funniest comment of the night came from Shane Hmiel. During caution he asked, what airport am I supposed to be at in the morning? I was like dude you are worried about that at a time like this? LOL, but it was cute and at 8am he was flying up with Biffle(and I'm assuming Kasey and Johnny and maybe Mikey) to Nazareth for the Busch race......the airport is Statesville(just in case any of you cared)

LOL, so yea I'm off back to the track for another long and HOT day.......but it should be good and I think Kasey will be good for the All-star, lord knows hes got tons of company in the back for speeding.

Okay so I just got home and its like 4am so if this doesn't come out right I'll redo it once I've gotten some sleep!

But the comment of the weekend has to go between Kole and Tommy before tonights race, here is how it went down
Kole: All right you aren't a rookie out there tonight, so don't let them push you around you don't have to take their shit. Just drive it like you own it.
Tommy: Don't you mean Drive it like you stole it.
Tommy: I guess being from Seattle you don't know anything about stealing, we should send you up to New York sometime.
Kole: Is that speaking from experience Tommy?
Tommy: Yea

LOL, then they finally got back to actual race talk but OMG I was laughing hysterically......I can't even imagine what Kasey was thinking in the car listening to that. :lol:

Okay lets see if I can remember any more of the highlights........Kasey is quiet on the radio most of the time unless the car is really bad. After the wreck he'd come over the radio and be like okay its a little loose off the corner but by the end of segment one he was on the radio just going "loose, loose, loose" it was kinda like in case you didn't hear me the first 10 times I told ya, I'm loose. Then in segment 2 they got the car to tight, but in segment 3 they really got the car back handling pretty well, still not perfect but it was good so with a wrecked car that wasn't to bad!
Turns 1 and 2 seemed to be their problem, Kasey just couldn't do anything down there but in his words, in 3 and 4 the car was haulin' ass :D

I really think the combination of Kole, Kasey and Tommy on the radio works very well they all seemed to just flow great with each other, which is a plus :)

Not really sure who got in the back of Kasey in that wreck but Kasey wasn't happy with him cause he was like if some of them actually used their brakes we wouldn't have been in that(that isn't his exact words but I won't repeat his exact words, LOL)


I really had an absolute blast(who couldn't when I had about 10 hotties sitting right behind me and they were doing a race pool between them and I kept up with their picks for them so none of them could cheat and change their pick) but I'm so exhausted cause the heat was just horrible. It was in the 90s both days and the humidity was unreal. I thought for sure we were going to get rain last night but the storm stayed just to the north of the speedway(still close enough to see the lightning though) Hopefully next week it will be a little cooler and I look for Kasey to run really well. They were awesome before the wreck and pretty decent after the wreck so I think next week if they can stay out of trouble he has a great shot at a great finish or getting that first win! :na

ahhh come on tell us what kasey really said lol...j/k if it is TOO bad...we all know kasey has a naughty mouth...haha...sounds like you had a whole lot of fun...

Glad ya had fun and I am sure we will have an awesome blast this weekend!!! Can't wait!

Did you get to meet him ??

Well no, Kasey wasn't at the track very much since he had to be up at Nazareth too so we didn't get to meet him but we are going to Fan Day on Friday so hopefully we'll meet him then.

Can't wait till fanday so I can tell him that he IS going to WIN on SUNDAY!! :D

I'd love to see him get his first win at the 600 :)

I wish! I'm in California. My boyfriend is going on the Robby Gordon double duty tour...but isn't taking me, cause he's going with his business partner and is being classified as a "business trip". So he'll be there and I'll be watching on TV....I've never been so damn jealous in my life!
