Evernham Motorsports announced today that Stanley Tools will be the primary sponsor of Scott Riggs' NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Dodge Charger for 10 race in 2006.

I remember reading that Valvoline would be the sponsor on the 10 for the majority of the races; guess we now know who the other sponsor will be. It's great because it's more money for EMS, but I was hoping Stanley would stay on Bill's 91.

Valvoline will probably remain as an associate sponsor for the ten races that Stanley sponsors.

Stanley will sponsor the No. 10 Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger for 10 races in 2006, including Las Vegas, Texas (A), Talladega (A), Darlington, Michigan (A), Daytona (B), Indianapolis, New Hampshire (B), Charlotte (B) and Phoenix (B). The No. 10 Stanley Tools/ Valvoline Dodge Charger will carry the signature yellow and black colors of the Stanley brand. Stanley Tools also will be the featured co-primary sponsor on the No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger in 21 races throughout the season. In addition to the primary sponsorship, Stanley will continue its involvement as an associate sponsor on the race cars of Kasey Kahne and Jeremy Mayfield, as well as on the uniform of Erin Crocker -- creating the Stanley Racing Family that is as unique and diverse as the loyal customers of Stanley® tools.

I wonder if Stanley will still kick in a few for Bill. I think they will.
