Congrats to Jeremy and his team. Congrats to Bill Elliott also for an 11th place finish, good job to kasey and the dew crew also, they had a good run, just not the finish to back it up.

I like keeping this only Chargers winning to the EMS boys......
we are really starting to figure it out and the rest of the year seems really promising and I'm already getting excited about 2006 too. Now both Kasey and Jeremy have themselves in the Allstar race for next year, now we just need to get Jeremy a pole to get in the Shootout

Congrats to Jeremy and the #19 team! Great to see them get a win!

Didn't Kasey's win get him into this year's All-Star race? So it wouldn't be good for next year? Correct me if I'm wrong...
Anyway, it's good to see a second win from EMS. Unfortunately, Jeremy did not look to have a dominating, great-handling car. He won by fuel mileage/strategy. And Kasey's car was not terribly good either. Unfortunately, they still don't seem to have the 2 mile D-Ovals figured out. I'm not looking forward to California...
Oh well, Bristol is next! The EMS short track program seems to be really strong. Hoping for another WIN that comes with an unlimited supply of withdrawal slips from the luck bank for Kasey!

under the rules for the Allstar race.....
any driver that won the previous year and any driver that wins before the Allstar race during that year......
Kasey's win should(unless they change the rules, which they have done) qualify him for next years race also

All right then! Good to see Kasey in the All-STar race next year! Great!

Bill struggled pretty bad, but thankfully his fuel mileage let him get an 11th place finish. Jeremy was better than Bill, but he still wasn't great. Kasey had the best Evernham car, but something happened at the end where it just faded, and then it ran out of fuel.
I think Kasey had an easy top five car. Restarts didn't seem that great, but the 9 really took off on the long runs. Kasey flew to the front at the start, and it looked like he was just following Kyle Busch when he was in second. I think Kasey went from 35th to 12th one of the long, green flag runs. He finally had top fifteen track position after the last caution, and he was up to 8th place and running times better than or equal to the leaders. Then, the lap times just started fading, and Kasey fell back through the field.
The shock problem, overheating, and running out fuel killed any chance of a good finish, though. Had the problems not occured, I think Kasey had a shot at winning the race. It was good to see Jeremy win again, though, even though I'm not a huge Jeremy Mayfield fan. I always root for Evernham Motorsports, and it's pretty sweet that they have Dodge's only wins this season.
