Hi Everyone,
If you were at the P51 or the Koast RC flying events the last couple of days you probably saw me playing with a new little micro video camera. There was a lot of questions about it so I thought that I'd post a little info. First of all, this is a modified disposable video camera purchased from CVS pharmacy... Here's a pic of what it looks like

There's a series of 'threads' that I'll list that shows you how to modify this micro camera into a multiple use vid cam, one that you can use over and over and dump the video to a laptop or home computer. You can record up to 20 minutes of video without dumping it. The cam also comes with a built in monitor so that you can see instantly what you've recorded.

If you purchase the cam from CVS be warned that there's a little bit of modding that you have to do which includes purchasing a female usb port and usb cord. I decided to go the easy/cheap route and buy one that was already modded on ebay.

Here is a short video (not for dial up) that I uploaded. It takes some clips from Joe Kreb's Triplane and My Byron Corsair. We plan on getting some great footable from Joe's 1/3 cub here shortly, can't wait for that one....
