Just wondering, Alvin says innocently. ;)

Is there any question which way I voted?
Osirus711 - March 22, 2006 10:11 PM (GMT)
I voted both, because I love to fly both.....
but there is just something in the lines of a sleek airplane.....

All these votes and no one is posting their reason or revealing there vote, what's up with that? This topic/poll was started to stir up a battle between the planksters and the rotor heads.
My guess is everyone who voted Planes or both has never felt the awsome rush of flying a powerfull chopper at full throttle. Let's hear from those that have flown both, and to those that have never flown a chopper just admit that they intimidate you and your too scared to let yourself enjoy it.

Voting for both when only two choices are offered is a bit absurd, don't you agree?
It messes up the true vote count too... <_<
I have flown the planks before, but I voted for helicopters because they are much more challenging to fly.
One day I would like to fly my helos as smoothly and accurately as I can fly my airplanes.
Not just hovering. Not just circles and ovals, but flights that include maneuvers like loops, rolls, stall turns, split S turns, Cuban eights, and some of those maneuvers that only helis can do, like 540º stall turns, pirouettes, and combinations thereof...
And I don't mean flying them like Tal does either, as I know I will never get that good!
Just enough to stay ahead of Steve, Tony, Andrew, Billy, David, Robert and Mike. (You KNOW Mike will join us eventually...)
:D

The irony is so thick I could choke on it. :P

Mike if you really want o get into choppers, I tell you that for me starting with the blade CP was excellent. It flys with the same controll movements as the bigger ones and costs a heck of a lot less to repair when things go bad.
The down side is spending the $200 plus the another $75 on the upgrades you will soon want for something you plan to outgrow in a few months or weeks.
So, if you would like you can borrow mine for a few weeks or untill you master it, just return it in same condition its in when I give it to you. It is very easy to repair and parts are cheap relatively speaking, I can show you everything you need to know about fixin after a crash.
