is it the f84-e

Mr.Incredible - February 22, 2006 01:07 AM (GMT)
I see how it is now! Wait till I am out of town and snatch the Trophy away from me when I don't have time to defend my title.

It is a shame that no one could defeat me under fair circumstances and the admin had to stoop to such dirty tactics to take away crown.

The rule about no guesses from Atlanta is irrelevant because if I post an answer it won't be a guess.

The quilty rat always squeeks the loudest.
Steve, I did not remember that you were in Atlanta. This rule was not aimed at you at all, but now that you have spoke up, I know where you are.
And not so fast, no winner yet. You might get back in town in time to win or you could get Margo to proxy guess for you.

Sorry cryptic_stylz, your guess not correct.

Come on Steve, I know that you can ID the airplane.
Don't hold back. Don't let the little yellow trophy slip away. :P

It is with happy surprise that I see you guys holding back on identifying this mystery airplane till Steve gets back in town from Atlanta (Friday, I think) so that he will have a fair chance at keeping the little yellow boopie prize trophy. :D

I haven't had ample time to research. But I swear it has an identical vertical stabilizer as a P-51 Mustang. Does that make me half right?

Congrats David and Thank you, I was tired of searching for that stupid thing.

4star40 - February 28, 2006 01:49 PM (GMT)
I have done countless searches on that plane and haven't dug up anything on it....I even went to the library for the first time. <_< Oh well, it was fun looking.

OK I did not want to spoil the fun for every one else but it is a hispano aviacion HA-200 , I recognized it's sleak lines and unique tail stab immediatly.

I realize David already correctly identified it and is the "official winner" so I will just proudly accept the first runner up trophy and wait in the wings just in case I am called upon to fill in.
