AVISTAR II - January 27, 2006 01:44 AM (GMT)
It's been a while since I had the rest of my lessons of RC flight
I can;t afford a RC real flight simlator
so the only way to pratice is I find a real small plane (Cessna ) flying around
and turn on my radio and copy the plane's movement on the controls of my radio.
strange you say , Hey I just dieing to learning to fly my Avistar.

You really don't have to turn your transmitter on for that type practice, Avistar. :P

Great news, AvistarII.
Just be carefull not to curb those new tires while taxieing around the runway and taxi strips. Keep them looking new for as long as you can. ;)

In 6 years your Current RC radio will be out dated

alvinonline - March 4, 2006 05:00 AM (GMT)
My current radios were outdated several years ago.
One is about twelve years old and the other is older than that, but they are good ones.
Never failed me. Time tested. :)

Do they instructors at clubs say start by taxiing first?

alvinonline - March 14, 2006 02:48 AM (GMT)

It depends on the instructor and the club.

Learning to taxi first will teach you to properly control the throttle and stearing without any damage to the aircraft.
When taxing toward you, it will build your reflexes for the stearing to be reversed.

alvin is right as he is the master :D one way you can learn is go to a school or something with the "WING OFF" you can work on driving it around

AVISTAR II - March 14, 2006 11:27 PM (GMT)
Well I taxi with the wing on
it felt cool to learn this way at first
The good thing about the rain is that the dust or dirt is pack daown hard.

David - March 15, 2006 03:47 AM (GMT)
be very careful about having the wing on in case something goes wrong it wont try to fly away

AVISTAR II - March 16, 2006 02:39 AM (GMT)
I have the engine on idle speed
the trouble of lreaning in the air is you can easyly get disorintated up there.

AVISTAR II - April 1, 2006 12:03 AM (GMT)
