ACMA's Irvington Field, Irvington, AL.
Tuesday morning, December 27 at 9:00 - !0:00 AM pilots meeting.
Then a surprise event will take place.
Be there or be square.
Probably our last event for this year.
No fee and no AMA required.
Just a weak mind and a strong back.
Roger Geil has the stuff to do some repair work to runway and needs some folks to come down and lend a helping hand.

Gee, Sorry I'm going to miss all the fun. Got to take a short business trip to central Florida tomorrow and Wednesday. Well, you all go ahead and have all the fun. See you this weekend, maybe.

I am fixing to head that way.
Going by Tony's Auto Save for some "free" coffee and try to get him to knock off work and go with me, but I don't think that his dad Melvin will fall for our made up story.
I am supposed to say that my truck is makeing some strange noise and get TONY TO GO FOR A RIDE WITH ME TO HEAR IT. Then when we get back a few hours later, will say that my truck broke down a mile up the road and we just managed to get it back in.

I did get by the Auto Save, but messed up and let Tony know that I was trying to get him off work to attend a work detail. So that wound that plan up.
The runway at Irvington Field did get repaired and pretty good at that.
35 sacks of Mix-It-Yourself morter and several cans of instant expanding foam product in the cracks and smoothing up some edges.
Nothing left that is big enough for a toy airplane wheel or small child to fall in.

Excellent news. Sorry I couldn't be there to help, had to return to the office today. We appreciate the hard work guys, and I can't wait to see the repairs in person.
